It was a complete performance by the #1 junior in the state of Illinois. Williams who has been the top ranked prospect since the summer had maybe the most complete performance we have seen out of him in his career. He did everything well in this game. As a scorer he was aggressive and efficient with his drives as he had multiple explosive takes for dunks in the early going showing burst blowing past his man. On one he caught a long offensive rebound off a free throw full speed and exploded to the rim for a dunk. Such a great ability to be skinny in traffic along with finish with either hand at the rack which he did on several drives with his left hand. Knocked in a corner three, one from the top of the key, along with a deep pull up two showcasing excellent shot mechanics and fluidity. He passed it well in the half court especially after forcing a couple passes early on. Really liked how he would survey the defense and find open shooters. His rebounding was as good as we have seen him. Attacked the glass on both ends with assertiveness. Defensively he used his length and playing big on the perimeter and inside with his wingspan. Got his hands on multiple steals in the win and blocked a jump shot. He had 28 points and 13 rebounds. Looked every bit the top guy in 2026!

Jackson is a long and lanky small forward that fits the ideal 3 and D wing that is so coveted at the next level. The junior can really shoot it from three with three from distance off the catch. Free and easy release on his shot. Mixed in layups and free throws for 13 points. Very good perimeter defender that likes to impact on that end.

Thompson is a left handed point guard that plays quite a bit off the ball for Kankakee. The lefty is a good spot up shooter as he knocked in a pair of triples in the win for 8 points.

Stipp is a big man who is crafty around the hoop. He had a pair of nice left handed hook shots early in the game on his way to 6 points.

Preston torched early for Crete Monee scoring 10 of his 15 points in the first quarter. The 5'11” point guard was feeling it with his shot as he shot it with confidence in this game from distance hitting three triples including ones off catch and pulling up. Also created in the mid-range with his step back game for a couple.

Blakes is a physical wing at 6'4” that was eerily quiet for the first three quarters, but then showed his skill late. The big bodied small forward hit a corner three and got downhill for a pair of finishes en route to 7 points. Small college or JUCO wing.

Gardner is a top 100 junior guard that has a strong and compact frame. He is best when attacking downhill with his strength where he has a soft touch finishing game and scoop shots. Hit a three and overall showed flashes of passing in the half court.
