Late January, we updated the 2026 player rankings. In this feature the focus is centers.

[player_tooltip player_id='2139567' first='Avery' last='Coles'] remains the best center in the Class of 2026, but Ensworth added an impressive transfer ([player_tooltip player_id='2573777' first='Gan' last='Erdene Solongo']) from Michigan this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2573777' first='Gan' last='Erdene Solongo'] is a giant, young man with decent touch around the rim and quality touch from the free throw line. He is the kind of guy that might necessitate his team playing zone defense. He does not close out shooters with any meaningful balance or agility.

[player_tooltip player_id='2631817' first='Lawson' last='Lee'] scored 16 points in overtime win Tuesday night as Siegel defeated Oakland. He is not as polished as [player_tooltip player_id='2139567' first='Avery' last='Coles'] just yet, but he is lighter on his feet and more of a rim-runner.

[player_tooltip player_id='2352126' first='Austin' last='Tinnon'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2678069' first='Andrew' last='Joyner'] are both very raw as hoopers, but they have wonderful height and therefore some college potential if they develop. Tinnon's touch around the rim is special. He needs to be more demonstrative with the finish, at times. Dunking with authority will disallow ambitious shot-blockers from blocking his shots...when he more frequently sees bigger defenders after high school.

[player_tooltip player_id='1528672' first='Brogdon' last='Lundgren'] was a prospect that enticed years ago but truly has not added much to his game. He comes off the bench for CAK this season.
