Bigs in basketball are a dying breed and often overlooked. These players however have adapted to new gameplay that has been evolving over the last few years in order to enhance their skills and to solidify their future. They currently hold D1 offers and others have committed to schools. These guys are super athletic for their size and have continued to progress each year.

Stays within himself and contributes in every aspect to his team. A smart defender understanding when to drop or hedge on pick and rolls. A good free throw shooter for a player his size. I loved watching him move laterally and beat smaller quicker players to spots defensively. He is actually listed at 6'8" on the roster.

https://twitter.com/jayjohnson88/status/1885760837706494345

Runs the floor well for a center. He can make great strong passes from anywhere on the floor, dribble like a guard and shoot from deep. He is a strong communicator on defense. A variety of post moves and most impressively his patience especially when he baits defenders to over commit.

The Iowa commit shows why he belongs in the Big Ten. Smart player who has good moves especially the first move to confuse defenders. He has above average handles for a big with a great hesi. Like I said before about his IQ he fully understands when and where to attack the defense off the dribble and after catch.

https://twitter.com/jayjohnson88/status/1885773928548737228

Has a great long, lean body to disrupt the offense heavily in zone. He has an above average mid-range and can easily get shots off defenders because of his size. Creates a problem for matchups as the defense may not have the height to guard him with quick enough players or if they have the size might be too slow. He can easily become a double double player. Next year for South Kent can easily be the number one go to guy in the offense.

https://twitter.com/jayjohnson88/status/1885760837706494345

I was impressed with his improved footwork from a year ago. He has really worked on his post moves, agility and soft touches finishing at the rim. He even worked on his body leaning out but still keeping his strength. If he continues to work on his body and skill development he will have a great career at the next level.

Still has upside to his game and will make Arizona St. fans happy. Great footwork near the rim, 10-15-foot range after the catch with exceptional moves. A long lean frame who will put on good weight next year. Has the skillset to space the floor and force defenders to guard him near the three-point line.
