One of the most skilled bigs to come out of Ohio in the past few years, Horton is as proficient as anybody on the block by using both of his hands at the rim to finish. For Toledo St Francis this season, Horton has had the ability to go up against other elite bigs from Ohio and Michigan and has competed on both ends of the court. When he has the room to catch on the block, he usually makes the right decision to either score or kick it out to a shooter. I'll be curious to see how he looks during the grassroots season because he'll be surrounded by shooters but also be facing against another quality big in basically every match-up. Iron sharpens iron and that's been the approach I've seen Horton take this season in what's been a promising leap for him that's resulted in a few new offers.

One of the top football recruits in Ohio, Fogle's future lies on the gridiron with numerous high major programs in hot pursuit of the talented junior. On the hardwood, Fogle has been a key piece for a Lexington squad that went 18-3 and won the Ohio Cardinal Conference Championship. Fogle is tough to stop when he gets to his right shoulder as he's able to attack off the bounce and is stronger than just about anybody at the rim. We'll see if Lexington can make a run in a tough district that could see them face Lutheran West in the regional semis, a rematch from the Battle At The Berkey.

Usually forwards take a little longer to blossom than guards do and this season has been Straub's coming out party for Saint Clairsville. After showing flashes during the grassroots season on the Prep Hoops Circuit, Straub has taken his game to new heights this winter as he's been dunking on anybody in his path to help the Red Devils become one of the top teams in Division V. Always a fluid athlete for his size, Straub has improved his explosiveness and ability to play through contact. Already with multiple Division II programs in pursuit of him early, I'll be curious to see where his recruitment ends up as he should get plenty of attention from regional Division I and II programs this summer playing for Midwest Basketball Club MHC.

An under the radar name out of Cincinnati, Bennett is a prospect I expect scholarship programs to find very intriguing this summer as he's a bit of an unknown. After a strong season for Indian Hill where he averaged almost 18 points and 7.5 rebounds a contest. I expect him to see his recruitment take shape for Ohio Champion Basketball where he will be able to show off his versatility as a ball handler and also his interior scoring and rebounding ability. Expect to hear a lot about Bennett during the months of April to July.
