Even though this year isn't over, it doesn't hurt to look ahead and think about next season. Here are a few talented junior guards who should be some of the top seniors next season. And those still in the hunt this year will be key to their teams continuing their seasons and making a run at state.

Speedy point guard who makes everything happen for Ridgeline. He is a consistent playmaker, beating his man to gaps and constantly moving the defense with his penetration. He's also a smart mover off the ball who stays in constant motion, relocating after passes, using screens to his advantage, and working well in quick give-and-go's. Can really extend the play and play with pace and patience while looking to make the right play. A naturally pass-first point guard who can also put it in the bucket (2nd in GSL 4A/3A in scoring at 22.4 ppg).

Burkett has been a reliable 3-point threat all season long and while his pure stroke is one of his strengths, he's also a shifty guard who can make plays off the bounce and has the awareness to read defenses and dish or score. He really has one of the better shooting touches in his class, from 3-balls to runners and floaters in the paint, Burkett is a smooth guard who can fill a lot of roles for Garfield.

Missed a good chunk of the season but came back and made an immediate impact. 3-point shooting is a big strength of his but can also attack both ways with strength and length. At 6-foot-4, has the ability to see over the defense, shoot over defenders, finish with some acrobatics and touch in the paint, and smother smaller guards on the defensive end.

Able to create space with long crossover, good footwork for step-back, and with his size it only takes a glimpse of space for him to feel open for the shot. Did a great job protecting the rim and being a big rebounder for them in their win over Lake Washington Tuesday. Hennig had several great outlets up the floor to get their transition game going and also showed some deft touch with a couple of controlled floaters in the lane.

Fischer can straight-up shoot the rock. He's an excellent 3-point shooter and does a great job patiently prodding on the attack, getting into gaps, reading the defense, and showing the control to keep his dribble and pull it back out if things clog up. He was extremely efficient from the floor this year, shooting 54% FG, 47% 3PT, and 93% FT while averaging 21 points per game.
