CALVARY BAPTIST VS. TEAYS VALLEY CHRISTIAN

[player_tooltip player_id='2457787' first='Matthew' last='DeGroff'] flipped the switch at halftime of this early morning day 2 opener. DeGroff who was held scoreless in the first half went off for 20 points and grabbing nine rebounds in the second half in a double overtime game where he shot 8-14 from the field and a solid 4-6 from the line. Teammate [player_tooltip player_id='2449682' first='Owen' last='Good'] also had a stellar outing that morning shooting the Calvary Baptist crew to victory with 24 points with a huge 4-6 from beyond the arc.

RAVENSWOOD VS. PETERSBURG

[player_tooltip player_id='2382651' first='Evan' last='Swain'] was the story of this game as he's been for the last several games for the Red Devils. Swain cleaned up the glass, and was near perfect from the field shooting 8-9 with 11 rebounds and three blocks in just twenty two minutes of work. The 6'7" Swain is an imposing player in the paint and changes many shots as a rim protector on defense. Evan helped limit Petersburg to just 11 points at halftime and just 34 total. Another notable performance for the Ravenswood squad is from [player_tooltip player_id='2382652' first='Noah' last='Dawson'] who scored 18 points on 8-12 shooting adding 5 rebounds and four assists. Dawson has been very steady in his production down the stretch as we near closer to the postseason.

HURRICANE VS. TUG VALLEY

What seems like a lopsided matchup on paper, this game was a story of a team who's found their stride and have the utmost chemistry on the floor. Tug Valley had control of this matchup from the tip and never gave up the reigns. [player_tooltip player_id='2382657' first='Kaden' last='Hale'] had a breakout game with 19 points for the Panthers and seemed to be the one player the Hurricane team couldn't account for on the floor. Hale is a handful with his strength and athleticism and creates alot of opportunities for himself and teammates with those attributes. Hale is just another Tug player with great ability and high basketball accumen who's helped create incredible chemistry. Tug Valley's other standouts were [player_tooltip player_id='2776262' first='Ethan' last='Ferrell'] with 16 and [player_tooltip player_id='1851879' first='Braydun' last='Ferris'] with 13. Hurricane's bright spot was [player_tooltip player_id='2243495' first='Carson' last='O'Dell'] with 23 points on 10-23 shooting.

SISSONVILLE VS SAINT ALBANS

This cross county matchup was really defined by shooting and shooting percentages. Sissonville shooting 34% vs a Saint Albans 52% led to a blowout win by the upstart squad from Saint Albans with [player_tooltip player_id='2469994' first='Brogan' last='Samms'] leading the charge blistering the nets for 21 points on 8-11 shooting including an impressive 5-7 from beyond the arc. Another impressive outing was by [player_tooltip player_id='2605714' first='Zay' last='Hall'] who had a very efficient 13 points on 6-8 shooting including a thunderous one handed tomahawk jam in the fourth quarter. The Saint Albans defensive efforts held Sissonville without a scorer in double figures.

HUNTINGTON ST JOE VS WAHAMA

This being the only boys game of the day it was one we didn't want to snooze through on the 10am start. [player_tooltip player_id='2531107' first='Noah' last='Keaton'] gave us all a wake up call early on and often getting some quick buckets to get to his 12 point total for the day but the story of the day was [player_tooltip player_id='2345856' first='Nymir' last='Bryant']. Bryant put together an impressive stat line including 15 points and 18 rebounds, including 7 offensive rebounds against a Wahama squad that had plenty of size to counter. Wahama's bright spot was [player_tooltip player_id='2776292' first='Cooper' last='Roush'] who ended up with 17 but was held to just 2-10 from his danger zone beyond the arc.
