SEPA New Names to Know From Early February

Below is a review of “new” prospects from southeastern Pennsylvania who caught our attention for the first time with their impressive performances of late.   College coaches need to learn their names and text these players immediately.    During his senior campaign Austin is averaging 12.5 points per game. However, over his last three games, he has posted a scoring average of 17.7 points per night. Included in his recent stretch of stellar play was a double double of 22 points (2 threes) and 10 rebounds in win over Central Dauphin East. Austin also recorded 3 blocks in that victory. This athletic and fast prospect with a long wingspan is a tremendous “3 & D” wing. He excels in the open court where he can finish with a creative touch or authority. In the half-court, Austin can splash triples or slash to the hoops for a catch and lay-in. Plus, Austin can work the offensive galls for points. At the defensive end, Austin can guard 1 through 4 and provide rim protection.     Bottomley closed the month of January in extraordinary fashion. In his final three games last month Bottomley recorded incredible stat lines of 27 points (4 threes) as well as 4 rebounds; 21 points (5 triples) to go along with 6 assists; and 24 points (6 treys) and 10 dimes. Obviously, Bottomley can pop threes all day. Still, his most impressive skill set may be his ability to create for himself and teammates off the dribble. He is a patient lead guard who will probe opposing defenses with the bounce until the best scoring opportunity presents itself. He also possesses the speed and handles to push the fast break for scores or assist. Bottomley currently holds an offer from Fresno State, but more DI coaches should be contacting this talented prospect.     Over the last ten days Fuller (21 ppg.) has exploded for two jaw dropping scoring performances. First, Fuller drained 5 threes on his way to 34 points versus New Oxford. Then Fuller posted 33 points (2 made threes) in a win over Southwestern. Over his last five runs, Fuller is averaging 24.5 points per night. Fuller's primary weapon is his highly accurate jump shot. He is an automatic spot up shooter and can pop jumpers off the dribble from anywhere on the floor. Fuller is an agile and fast prospect who can get out in transition and then convert through contact. He will also catch opponents by surprise with a flush on their head     As a sophomore Jackson has earned playing time on a deep and talented UD squad that has won 23 straight games and just captured the SOL title. Jackson is a fantastic athlete with a textbook shooting stroke who has the potential to be the next star player for UD. Jackson can pop long distance jumpers and produce points by slashing to the cup for a catch and lay-in. He possesses the speed and handles to score in the open court too. Jackson can also crash the offensive glass for put backs. He recently scored 14 points against Abington. On defense, Jackson is an extremely switchable athlete.
