Monday February 24, 7PM @ Dexter

Dexter won both regular season matchups. If they can apply pressure to the very young Hornets squad, they could advance to the semifinals.

Wednesday February 26, 5:30PM @ Dexter

Huron had 2 impressive victories against Dexter earlier this season and is looking to make another run to the Breslin Center. This season's team is smaller, but I'll warn you all, they are way more skilled at the guards and wing spots. Returning players got better and new additions have fit right in. Dexter has some players though and I wouldn't count them out. If the Dreadnaught guards play as steady as they can and the Dexter frontline has a big game, the upset could be on.

Ann Arbor Skyline vs. Ann Arbor Pioneer

Wednesday February 26, 7PM @ Dexter

This could be one of the most entertaining southeast Michigan District Semifinal matchups. It's an old fashioned in town rivalry game with the end of the season on the line. Better yet, they seem pretty evenly matched. Pioneer and Skyline even split the regular season games. Talk about a "Pick Em".

Ann Arbor Huron vs. Ann Arbor Skyline

Friday February 28, 7PM @ Dexter

Huron would come in as the heavy favorite having beat them by large margins in both regular season games. But this is the playoffs and this is Ann Arbor basketball. First of all, it's tough to beat a rival twice in a row (which was a key reason that I picked Skyline to be here), but how about 3 straight? Huron has some elite talent and next level studs. But Skyline has some athletes on the wing and some power at the forward spot that could be tough matchups for Huron.

DeMerell is one of the most steady junior guards around. If he plays his typical efficient style of basketball, Dexter could have a chance at advancing past the quarterfinal and get a shot at a playoff altering upset.

Moore led Huron to the Final 4 as a junior. Well he's an even more seasoned senior now. Moore is an elite 2 way guard that will impact the game on both ends of the floor. He makes Huron a VERY tough out.

It's often said that steady guard play wins championships. Well, Solomon is a championship level point guard. He's a patient multi level scorer and distributor. If he has a big week, Skyline could as well.

Pioneer plays an excellent brand of team basketball and that often translates well in the playoffs. That being said, Powell playing well greatly increases Pioneer's chances. He's a talented wing that can shoot with range.
