In the opening quarter, both teams felt each other out and by the end, things were all tied up at 9. Chatham Central switched things up between man and zone to make things difficult for the Chargers. While on the opposite end, Northwood utilized it's length to make things difficult for [player_tooltip player_id='1719080' first='Reid' last='Albright'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1225619' first='Brennen' last='Oldham'].

[player_tooltip player_id='1411220' first='Cameron' last='Fowler'] got the offense going for Northwood with back-to-back 3-pointers to open the second quarter and just like that, it was 20-11 with 5:15 to go in the half.

Fowler would stay hot but Oldham would get the offense going for Chatham just when they needed to, making the score 15-28 with 2:14 left in the half.

A layup from [player_tooltip player_id='1225620' first='Isaiah' last='Blair'] would make it 30-15 with 1:15 to go in the half and just like that, Northwood was surging. Their ability to create pressure on defense created turnovers and easy opportunities on the fast break for scores.

A 3-pointer from Josiah Brown would make it 33-17 at the half, giving Northwood its biggest lead of the night. Northwood outscored Chatham Central 24-8 in the second quarter.

[player_tooltip player_id='1411210' first='Chad' last='Graves'] would open the scoring in the second half, much like he did in the first half with an And-1 conversion. 35-17 Northwood.

More good ball movement from Northwood would increase the lead to 37-18 after another layup from Graves.

Oldham would get Chatham Central going on offense once again but Northwood would continue to keep things flowing on offense. Another 3-pointer from Brown would make things 40-22 before the Chargers called a timeout to regroup with 4:41 to go in the third quarter.

The lead blossomed to 50-31 with less than a minute remaining as Fowler would get things going off the bounce. Albright would find an easy two before time expired to make things closer. After 3, Chatham Central would have a big deficit on its hands 52-33 with Northwood leading heading in.

Northwood did a good job of adjusting to [player_tooltip player_id='1411210' first='Chad' last='Graves'] getting his fourth foul with 6:10 in the third. Graves would get his fifth foul with 6:43 left in the game.

The Chargers would hold onto things in the fourth with their lead punctuated halfway through by a steal and dunk from [player_tooltip player_id='1411220' first='Cameron' last='Fowler']. Northwood led 58-41 with 2:49 remaining in the game.

A 3-pointer from [player_tooltip player_id='1225620' first='Isaiah' last='Blair'] would make it 61-41 and Chatham Central would answer back with a layup from [player_tooltip player_id='2303329' first='Luke' last='Gaines'] would trigger a timeout with 1:25 remaining.

The subs would come in for both sides after that and Northwood would cruise to victory, 65-49.

Fowler set the tone in the first half with his shooting on the perimeter then followed that up in the second half showing off his ability to defend and attack the basket. He's a prospect in the 2026 class who continues to show his leadership on the court with his all-around abilities on the wing and in the painted area.

Blair impressed with his exploits playing without the ball in his hands for the Chargers. He's an intriguing wing/guard who showed he could knock down shots on the perimeter and got things going in a big way in the halfcourt and on the fast break. He's an unsigned senior who continues to excel in the Northwood rotation.

Harvey is the guard for Northwood who does all the dirty work like force turnovers and getting rebounds in traffic. He did well to take command of the team as their lead guard and found his teammates in space with ease to get the offense going. He's another underrated senior for this group that college programs should take a look at.

Albright played with poise as he finished with 16 points on 5-of-10 shooting from the field, despite the result as well as nine rebounds and three assists. He's shown he can make things happen when he gets things going in space but on this night, he had a rough go of things with the pressure defense being applied by Northwood.

Oldham also finished with 16 points along with seven rebounds for Chatham Central. He did a bulk of the attacking in the open floor as he shot the ball with volume, but he had a rough time finding his efficiency. He's a prospect for JUCO programs in the region to get eyes on given his ability to handle the ball in the open floor and finish in traffic.
