Tre Cordon | Prep Hoops Scout
One of the few guys in the 3A classification who has committed to a division one school doesn’t impress when looking at the box score. Graves is a 6’9 physical paint presence with elite level wingspan and athletic ability, he’s a force around the rim and a guy you have to account for wherever he is on the floor.

Provides a nice interior presence on both sides of the ball for his team. He blocked and contested shots at a nice rate on defense and finished some plays in the paint offensively. Doesn’t mind doing the dirty work for his teams, sets strong screens and understands defensive concepts well.

Has made tremendous strides this grassroots cycle with 1 of 1 Elite on the nxtPRO circuit; Cal-State Fullerton has offered him as has Dean College; his offense has come along and is up to par with his underrated ability to protect the rim and defend with presence; takes up space and then some as a defensive juggernaut

Graves is a prospect who continues his ascent up the 2026 rankings out of Northwood High. He put up career production as a junior with 9.9 points, 6.0 rebounds, 1.8 blocks and 1.4 steals per game. He’s another mobile big man who does a tremendous job of utilizing his length, especially defensively, to be a factor on the floor. As he continues to improve and work on his ability to defend without fouling, he’s a prospect for DI and DII programs to get on their radar. He’ll suit up with 1 of 1 Elite this spring/summer.

Graves is continuing his upward trajectory. He already has good defensive timing which he uses to block and alter shots. He is an above the rim finisher with good athleticism. What I like most is he has shown good footwork in the post with the ability to use drop steps and step-throughs.
