-Meadows moved into our T20 in the 2026 class and showed why in a big home win over PVI. Coming off the bench, Meadows made an immediate impact as an energy big that rebounds that basketball at a high level while serving as a W/F defender that can guard 2-5. Love the effort he gave to sprint the floor consistently in transition, constantly forcing defenders to help off of shooters to tag him and create easy looks for perimeter snipers. Scored a big putback late to make it a 2-possession game and snagged a defensive rebound to ice it down the stretch.

-Martin gave his team a little bit of everything in this one as a dynamic guard that can fill up the stat sheet. He hit a C+S corner 3 after drifting to space from the short corner, hit a C+S jumper in the middle of the zone at the top of the key, and was dynamic in transition--getting all the way to the rim on a few possessions while also showing the ability to hit short jumpers in the key. Liked the defensive positioning and awareness, serving as an effective trapper in Avalon's fullcourt press to flip the game for his team. Expect his stock to rise as his team plays against quality teams in league play as well as the non-conference.

-Really intriguing blend of skills from the sophomore W/F tweener. Ayana can score off of basic spin moves, hook shots, and runners from the low post but also showed the ability to space the floor with his shooting. Ayana opened things up with a C+S 3 from the wing in the secondary break, nabbed a chasedown block off the glass a few possessions later, hit a pick n pop jumper from the top of the key, and found open pockets in the defense along the baseline to get off several 15 foot jumpers that hit nothing but net. He has the size enough to match up pretty well with most forwards and can slide enough to make life difficult for opposing wings as well.

-It was my first time seeing Williams and I loved his tenacity and confidence from the jump. He hit a fader off glass after bumping his defender off him to create some room, got a 2-dribble pull-up jumper in the paint to go from about 8 feet, banked in a floater with the right off the spin move that originated outside of the paint, and timed a back cut really well to mirror a teammate's drive to the paint to collect and finish an easy layup at the rim. With good positional

-A point guard that thrives both on and off the ball as a super quick ballhandler that can blow past his matchup to get to his spots in the halfcourt. Avalon struggled to stay in front of Smith, as he often broke their press by weaving through the defense or attacked a hard closeout to get to the rim. Smith executed a picture-perfect euro lay around the defender to score with the inside hand while his body was flying behind the baskboard. He also had a scooping lay off glass after hitting his matchup with a double crossover and ran the floor well to complete runout layups in transition for his team. Definitely figures to be an addition in our next set of updated rankings for the sophomore class.
