If you look just at the QRF rankings, 13-9 #26 ranked Blaine shouldn't have had much problems with Elk River, the 5-17 #54 ranked 4A team. The old saying from Chris Berman, “That's why we play the games.”

The story of the game was rebounding, and [player_tooltip player_id='1560831' first='Levi' last='Harris']. Elk River collected 51 total boards, and [player_tooltip player_id='1560879' first='Jackson' last='Boll'], the 2026 six-foot-four-inch center had 30, 15 offensive and 15 defensive. [player_tooltip player_id='1560831' first='Levi' last='Harris'] scored 34 points hitting 6/15 3-pointers, he grabbed 5 rebounds, dished 3 assists and swiped 3 balls.

The 2026 Harris has been big lately for the Elks averaging 24 points per game in February averaging 4.5 3-pointers per game shooting 43% there. On the year he's shooting 41% from 3 on the year on 8.5 attempts.

There's a saying defense is what wins games, what about offensive rebounds? The Elks had 20. Of those 20 were led by [player_tooltip player_id='1560879' first='Jackson' last='Boll'] who had 15. Boll absolutely dominated inside versus the small ball Bengals. He set the tone early and often with his aggressive play and toughness around the basket and in the paint. Boll has struggled a bit on put backs this season, he was 7/12 versus the Bengals and finished with 16 points.

[player_tooltip player_id='2447459' first='David' last='Balisidya'], a 2027 sophomore guard, is growing the more I watch him play. Shot creation off the dribble gives the Elks something they need, and his athletic ability gives them another perimeter defender.

Blaine's guard attack was effective at times as the game was mostly back and forth throughout. [player_tooltip player_id='1874931' first='Shiloh' last='Ayitey'], a quick 2026 six-foot-two-guard shot 7 of 16 from the floor and showcased his ability to get to the rim, and finishing throughout.

[player_tooltip player_id='2109881' first='David' last='Diamond'], a six-foot-three-inch 2025 wing, gave Blaine three 3-pointers and 9 assists facilitating the offense throughout.

Henry Semans, a five-foot-ten-inch 2028 freshman on JV for Blaine is definitely maturing enough physically to compete on JV level. Solid ball handler, decisive, good athlete.
