2026 SF [player_tooltip player_id='1765520' first='Cooper' last='Grimm'] (Center Point-Urbana) -- 22 points (6-13 FG, 3-6 3P, 7-12 FT), 8 rebounds, 12 assists, 3 steals [vs. Mount Vernon]

Grimm (pictured) was great in the Stormin' Pointers gritty three-overtime win over Mount Vernon last week, showcasing his talents as a scorer, facilitator, and defender. He's a long, lanky, athletic wing who can do a little bit of everything on both ends of the floor, and he was outstanding in this one.

2025 PF [player_tooltip player_id='1381416' first='Thomas' last='Meyer'] (Clear Lake) -- 18 points (8-13 FG, 2-4 FT), 6 rebounds, 9 assists, 2 blocks [vs. Humboldt]

The future Iowa tight end has been fantastic this season for the top-ranked Lions, and his dominance continued against the Wildcats in a blowout win. He was extremely efficient as a scorer, protected the rim, but the most impressive aspect of his outing was the 9 assists. He flashed great vision and a willingness to pass out of double and triple teams.

2027 SG [player_tooltip player_id='2420801' first='Trey' last='Boettcher'] (Storm Lake) -- 25 points (9-17 FG, 6-11 3P, 1-2 FT), 1 rebound, 2 steals [vs. Cherokee]

Boettcher has been a really nice addition to the Tornadoes rotation this year, providing some big-time scoring punch off the bench, as he did in this game against Cherokee, knocking down 6 3-pointers and scoring a game-high 25 points.

2025 PG [player_tooltip player_id='1759900' first='Damyen' last='Jackson'] (Assumption) -- 31 points (11-18 FG, 5-9 3P, 4-5 FT), 6 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal, 1 block [vs. Bettendorf]

Jackson probably hasn't had the senior season that he expected to have, but Assumption is playing much better basketball of late, and his play is the biggest reason why, including this stellar game against Bettendorf. A quick guard who can play downhill and attack the rim as well as knock down shots from deep both off the dribble and the catch, he was great on both ends against the Bulldogs.

2027 PG [player_tooltip player_id='2757890' first='Tommy' last='North'] (Oskaloosa) -- 31 points (11-17 FG, 6-13 3P, 3-4 FT), 6 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal [vs. Indianola]

North has been a revelation this year for the Indians, emerging as a dominant scorer in the backcourt and reliable playmaker. He was great against Indianola, dropping a game-high 31 points on efficient shooting, including knocking down 6 3-pointers.

2026 SG [player_tooltip player_id='2731882' first='Gage' last='Moreno'] (Saydel) -- 30 points (10-14 FG, 5-6 3P, 5-5 FT), 1 rebound, 10 assists, 1 steal [vs. Perry]

The junior guard was excellent as both an efficient scorer and playmaker in the Eagles' blowout win over Perry last week. He can score from all three levels, using his quickness and physicality to get to the rim for finishes as well as knocking down shots from distance off both the dribble and the catch.

2027 SG [player_tooltip player_id='2377642' first='Carson' last='Riser'] (Clear Lake) -- 29 points (10-14 FG, 9-13 3P), 1 rebound, 3 assists, 2 steals [vs. Humboldt]

The second Lion on this list with an exceptional game against Humboldt, Riser was electric as a shooter, burying 9 3-pointers in the blowout win. He's a talented sophomore guard with a quick release, unlimited range, and the ability to create plays off the dribble.

2025 SG [player_tooltip player_id='1668669' first='Landen' last='Norris'] (Knoxville) -- 28 points (11-18 FG, 5-8 3P, 1-2 FT), 13 rebounds, 5 assists [vs. Centerville]

Norris has been great this season for the Panthers, who are still undefeated and ranked #3 in the class. A talented guard who can score from anywhere on the floor, he can play with or without the ball in his hands, is great on the glass, and is a talented playmaker who likes to get his teammates involved.
