Piatt-Brown changed the momentum of this game on the defensive end. It was a real back-and-forth first half because of the scoring from the guards of Westerville South. He then decided to take the challenge head-on and applied immense ball pressure. This sped the Wildcat guards up and started to turn them over. He dictated everything the offense was doing. He was physical when he needed to be on defense. His athletic ability and length were great, and he was often seen blowing by guards and getting to the rim on the offensive end. He picked his time to attack well. He made a huge winning impact without being the top scorer for his team.

Vanderwarker is one of the most consistent and reliable players in the state. This is for many reasons, but the main reason is you cannot stop him. His size and strength are overwhelming for most and this included Westerville South. He also has great playmaking ability. He makes everyone on his team better. He did a great job of finding an open teammate. He showed off the ability to score on any level of the court. I thought his playmaking ability was great and then realized he was also the leading scorer of the game. Just an impressive display of high-level basketball.

When you hear a freshman starting on varsity that sparks your interest as a scout but you rarely see them be the team's offense, that's what Jones is for the Wildcats squad. He has great confidence and is a high-volume shooter. He got a ton of buckets around the rim and from beyond the arch. He is a raw player but was tough to stop. He has good timing on his off-the-dribble shots. He is a player that you can expect to be a name to know in Columbus for his high school career.

I like Brown's game. He is a short but stocky guard who can get buckets. He uses his strength and lower body balance to get to the rim. He finishes well around and through defenders. He has a quick first step. He plays with a high motor and is a solid guard you can depend on. Trust the ball in his hands.

Kaba showed off some nice offensive skills against Delaware Hayes. He is showed off great touch around the rim and in the lane. He made multiple floaters in the lane. He did a good job of attacking the glass and getting rebounds. He was affective with his shots and let them come to him. He did a great job of just being in the right spot and finding the space to get his shot off. He has good length and moves well. Super solid junior guard for this Westerville South squad.
