Sometimes players have a specific role on their team, but could potentially do even more with a different one. These are the players who will do whatever is necessary for their team's success. Their potential is high, and they adapt their game depending on the opposition. It could be a point guard who has the ability to score but focuses on facilitating the game, or a shooter who locks in on defense. These players take what the game gives them, always prioritizing the team's win above individual stats.

Gamarrion Scott is one of the best athletes on Calvary's roster, and his role varies from game to game. He has spent time in the gym improving his physique, and his strength and athleticism give him the tools to change the game's momentum with a single play. He is a strong finisher around the rim, along with being a consistent defender and rebounder. He plays intelligently, looking for the smart play and rarely forcing the issue. He can guard any position on the court, making Calvary a dangerous team. If opponents play him loosely, he will punish them with a powerful dunk, energizing his team. Keep an eye on him, as he will surely be a player who makes big plays on both ends of the court in various ways.

[player_tooltip player_id='1543656' first='Devin' last='Houston'] is a player that can give you any thing on any night. On most nights you can catch him stepping up to knock down crucial three point shots, but he also defends and plays the passing lanes for steals. If the three ball is not falling, he will use his skill and get to the lane and finish off two feet. When playing on the number one team in the state, understanding your role is paramount to success. Houston does more than score and will be one to watch as the playoffs will be tightly contested and he will be a key piece to another championship run.

Damarian Deal is one of the best guards in the state and this season he has shown his potential to compete at the next level on a nightly basis. He has the size, speed, basketball IQ, athleticism and the basketball mentality to be an impact player at the next level. On top of all that, the kid is just a winner. His strengths are hard to point out because he does so many things at an elite level. He is one of the leaders at Bastrop and consistently does whatever it takes to win. If you need 30 points, Deal delivers on all three levels. If you need assists, rebounds or lock down defense. He can give that to you as well. Deal is both a sleeper and a steal in this deep 2025 class.

Braden is the perfect example of a point guard. Although he has the ability to score at a high level, he primarily controls the pace of the game with his exceptional ball-handling skills and elite basketball IQ. With a strong build, he has the strength to dominate guards of all sizes. He's a capable shooter and excels at driving to the rim, finishing through contact. While he can score, his preference is to facilitate and he consistently rises to the occasion, making the right play when it matters most. With his head always on a swivel, he finds the open shooter. He plays with the pace and poise of a high-level guard and will undoubtedly be the driving force for Natchitoches as they prepare for another deep playoff run.

[player_tooltip player_id='2629329' first='Rodrieon' last='Dillard'] has had a strong season, building on an impressive freshman year and AAU Season. He's a versatile player who excels on the offensive end of the court, showcasing his scoring ability. Dillard can get to his spots with ease and finish at all three levels. His creativity on the floor shines, and he thrives in various offensive settings. His three-point shot is reliable and demands respect, but if defenders back off, he'll make them pay. If they play him too closely, he uses his skill to blow past them and has a great ability to change direction, keeping defenders off balance. He's not a selfish player—on any given night, he'll rack up several assists, and he's a consistent rebounder as well.
