To put it simply, Genuise just looked really solid in this game. He did a great job attacking both sides of the rim and getting downhill with the ball. Genuise attacked a double team and scored through them at the rim. He later split defenders and converted a righty finish at the rim. Genuise finished with both creativity and power at points in this game. He even had a drive and dish for a pretty assist.

Where exactly do I start? I don't focus much on stats, but I shudder to think what his might look like in this game. Thompson scored the ball in a variety of ways, from working through a triple team with his back to the basket to a bevy of put back buckets. But he also showed that the intangibles are as much a part of his game as the stats. Thompson was constantly looking up the floor in order to pass and pressure the defense. He was able to challenge cutters at the rim and even alter shots from behind the play. And his passing? First of all, they have that next level zip on them. Secondly, he's a smart passer with the ability to draw the D and deliver the ball to open teammates.

Devito was critical to Allendale's success in this game. Let's start with his jumper. I believe he buried 3 catch and shoot corner triples and added a pull up 3 for good measure. 2 of those 3's gave his team the lead late, 1 at the 2:36 mark in the 4th quarter and the other at the 1:44 mark. Devito showed some creativeness with the ball as well. He used an inside-out dribble to shake his defender and score at the rim.

The athletic forward was very impressive in this game. He did a really good job of staying on the move and finding open space. Anderson snuck under the D for a layup in the first half. Later in the game, he cut to the open space, caught the feed and scored with a spin and a layup. Anderson also had an and-1 finish at the bucket.

Ashby was big time for his Allendale team against Whitehall. He was very active on the defensive glass. It stood out in the 1st quarter, but continued throughout. Ashby did some of everything for his team. He had a nice kick pass to a shooter for an assist. Ashby also walled up against a dribble drive where he stood his ground and forced the ball to be backed out. He had a nice 2dribble drive straight down the lane for a bucket.

Shooters shoot and that's what Morningstar did in this game. I know that he hit at least 4 triples in the game. One catch and shoot triple came out of the corner. He then buried a wing 3 directly off the inbound pass. Morningstar looked like he had volleyball line type of range when he connected on 2 very deep triples.
