Throughout the top programs in the state, upperclassmen are taking leaps and propelling their teams forward. Here are a few of note:

[player_tooltip player_id='2569493' first='Kaden' last='Briscoe'] | 6'2 G 2026 MOT

Cashing in more than three triples per game, Briscoe has led the Mustangs to a 9-2 start this season. His threes come from all over the arc, some off of movement and others on spot-ups. Without dominating the ball, Briscoe stretches the floor from deep and still brings energy in other areas. He went berserk against West Philly with 27 points, on 7 threes, and 12 rebounds.

[player_tooltip player_id='2375193' first='Braxton' last='Figgs'] | 6'6 F 2026 Cape Henlopen

A killer on the volleyball court, Figgs's development has paid major dividends for the Vikings. He blocks shots, cleans up misses and puts them right back up. Figgs has also shown that his team can give him the ball on the block and let him go to work. The stretch forward can knock down jumpers from the mid-post and from long distance. Although he has yet to erupt for any huge scoring outbursts, Figgs raises the floor for the Vikings and their title hopes.

[player_tooltip player_id='2352347' first='Khareem' last='Hart'] | 6'1 G 2025 Sanford

The senior guard invested a ton of his time this off-season ironing out his jumper and it has paid dividends for his team. A physical defender and secondary playmaker, his improved three-point shooting has turned him into one of the most impactful guards in the class. And averaging almost 2 three-point makes each game, Hart gets them off on lockouts and pitches. Now, opposing teams have a difficult time containing him and the Warriors offense.

[player_tooltip player_id='2625264' first='Kam' last='Randolph'] | 6'1 G 2025 Dover

Randolph has been a key contributor for the Senators since relocating from Philadelphia. A jack of all trades, he simply knows how to play and mesh with any five Coach Wilson rolls out. He can guard his yard, shoot off the catch, attack closeouts, make the extra pass, and rebound for his size. He might be the newest member of the team, but Randolph is already a staple in Dover's closing lineups.

Ryan Tattersall | 6'5 F 2025 Wilmington Friends

Basketball is Tattersall's second sport, but he's no less of a leader than when he's on the football field. The Harvard-bound forward teeters between playmaking and playfinishing. From the short corner or high post, Tattersall dumps the ball down to those who might be posting up or cutting and they do the same for him when he's around the basket. He also maximizes his length and athleticism by shooting over defenders, grabbing boards, and blocking shots.

[player_tooltip player_id='2631155' first='Jaiayre' last='Wright'] | 6'5 W/F 2025 Dickinson

Wright was a bonafide athlete before this seasons, especially on defense. But his progress finishing around the basket is why his squad is at the top of Flight B. After snatching a rebound out of the air, he can score over defenders or use his long arms to extend around them. So even when Wright doesn't have a runway to punch on somebody, he can consistently create and capitalize on second chance opportunities.
