The rising freshman has a chance to make a big statement here as Cyprus is playing with house money on how good they have played. A lot of that has to do with this new kid making a splash. He is a player to keep on your radar as a rising talent and he could be big in tonights game against Taylorsville as they usually sit in a zone.

Nicolodemos is a great glue guy for Juan Diego. He comes in and defends, he hits open shots and he keeps it simple. He is one of those player that benefits from other teams focusing on too many of their other players. Look for him to continue to have an impact on the game. He could really score a lot more than his average against West Jordan tonight.

These two players square off tonight and it should be an intense battle as they should be defending themselves a lot. Lowe has been really impressive this season as he has taken the reins and has really answered the call as Olympus is not rebuilding. Highland on the other hand continues to impress with a variety of players stepping up and Drisdom has been consistent with his play all year. It might come down to these two and who can generate more stops.

Although there are other players on the floor that will be major impacts on the game these two square off as they both have next level talent. Mason is a great facilitating guard that can control the tempo. He drags out defenders and he is just one of the highest IQ players in the state. Winitana has been one of the best downhill attacking guards but he does it with such grace and ease. He will have a lot of bigger bodies waiting for him in the paint and seeing what he does against a smart defender that will funnel him to help will be interesting to watch.
