Wherever you are in Minnesota, you are an hour from a big game this weekend! So have a look at what you can see here, and then head out to a game!

The Friday Metro Combo.

Head to the Target Center to see Ashby (8-4) take on Hancock (6-5) play where the Wolves play! That's at 3:30 and you can see talented Ashby senior guard Easton Nelson and his team facing double-double senior standout [player_tooltip player_id='2104467' first='Chase' last='Evink'] who is a double-double guy.

And then head wherever you want for a 6:30 or 7pm or 7:15 start! We would advise Mounds View at 1AAAA Cretin-Derham Hall as the 10-2 Mustangs take their shot at the top team in AAAA.

Weekend's Best. 1A Cherry at 4A Deer River

[player_tooltip player_id='2126128' first='Isaiah' last='Asuma'] vs [player_tooltip player_id='1582113' first='Cale' last='Jackson']. Cale is more of a shooter that is scoring 27+ a game and has to be located. Asuma can shoot it but his quick basket attack is at a level teams struggle to deal with.

[player_tooltip player_id='1579911' first='Carson' last='Brown'] vs [player_tooltip player_id='2569251' first='Kevin' last='Doerr'] Jr. Brown will rebound, make shots, and create for others while Doerr is a sophomore ball handler that has stepped up as the third option for Deer River.

[player_tooltip player_id='1601068' first='Noah' last='Asuma'] vs [player_tooltip player_id='2103407' first='Caiden' last='Schjenken']. Caiden is making his case as an all state first team player with an average of 30 points, nine boards and five assists a game. This is his chance to show his undefeated team is a state contender, and that he is at the level of these known Cherry players. Noah might be the right guy to try and slow Caiden down.

[player_tooltip player_id='1579910' first='Noah' last='Sundquist'] vs Lawrence Bowstring. This is where these teams get different. Lawrence is really more of a fourth guard as he is second on the team in assists and the fifth leading scorer at six feet tall. I don't know that he is the right guy to defend Sunny but at the same time, they are together to show were the teams are different as Noah is a 20 and 10 guy actively doing things around the basket.

Ayden Cappo vs Nick Bakkedahl. The big role guys! Both in the 6'3 area as screen setters and rebounders. Nick is giving eight and nine a game, Cappo plays his role but does not need to get the same numbers, he just needs to play his role, and he has.

Bang for the Buck. For Minnesota fans, this is the West Metro Clash at Southwest Christian and Waconia High Schools. The Midwest Players Classic is going on in Wisconsin but that is many teams outside of Minnesota and couple hours away from the metro. The West Coast Clash has the following tomorrow on the boys side (there are girls games too)....

at Waconia: Rochester Mayo vs Orono (1:15pm), Mound-Westonka vs Chanhassen (4:30pm) and Waconia vs Delano (7:30)

at Southwest Christian: Redwood Valley vs Holy Family (12:30), Minnehaha Academy vs Legacy Christian (2:15pm), Watertown-Mayer vs Southwest Christian (7pm)
