Jackrabbit Bracket and Camelback Bracket

I had the privilege of attending the Nike Tournament of Champions featuring Hoophall West in Phoenix, Arizona. During this tournament, I discovered multiple levels of talent from Arizona. With over 100 high school teams across various levels, it showcased not just top talent but also highlighted some hidden gems and under-the-radar players. Let's dive into some of the Day 2 standouts!

He's a real gamer and holds himself to a high standard on the court. He's an incredibly springy athlete. He's super quick in transition and good at changing speeds. He attacks the rim fearlessly and does not shy away from contact. He does a really good job of playing off two feet and can get any shot he wants at any time. He had one of the best performances I've seen at this tourney, living at the free-throw line against Mesa. A great play maker who knows when and where to get his teammates the ball. He's a big-time shot maker! He finished with 31 points against Mesa.

A really good ball handler who keeps it on a string at all times. Has a good frame that allows him to absorb contact well against defenders. Demonstrated great pace in the game and is an efficient finisher inside.

A mobile big that runs the court well in transition. He has a nice soft touch around the rim and can finish above the rim with ease! He showed his ability to stretch the floor and also be efficient at the free throw line. A good rim protector who can pretty much alter or block any shot that goes up around him.

A 3-level scorer. Miles is an exceptional play maker who knows how to attack gaps and pass out to the open man. He elevates well on mid-range shots and has a really good handle on the ball. To me, he is a pass-first point guard. He shined against Prescott, scoring 30 points and leading his team to victory!

He went off against Cienega HS, scoring 33 points! He hit big shot after big shot to get the win in double overtime. He attacked from all 3 levels on the court, mixing it up with mid-range shots, downhill drives, and threes. Super-efficient game for the young point guard.

Good frame elevates well off his mid-range jumper. He has the ability to create his own shot. Kaleel gets downhill with ease and plays through contact well. He's a good rebounding guard who can score on all 3 levels! He was a big part of the win Vs Cienega dropping 21 points. Maurice and Kaleel combined for 54 points out of the 84 points that was scored.

Had a really efficient game on day 2 against Willow Canyon. He got to the basket anytime he wanted! A solid rebounder who cleans up a lot of put backs off missed shots. He's a great finisher inside with a quick first step that lets him get downhill!
