The same can be said about the way he played in the rivalry win last week against TCC. He's heady guard with a good game IQ. LaFaive just seemed to be around the ball and ready to make plays. I know that he showed he could shoot, burying 2 catch and shoot triples. But his game influence was much bigger than that. When there are playmakers all over the place, the threat of a player willing and able to fire off the catch was so valuable. Having to account for Rowe meant less attention on the guy with the ball. He played solid defensively and was good with the ball in his hand. I was impressed with the work he did off the ball. Turner also showed a ton of upside in his mid range game. He was active on the glass and chased down rebounds. I was impressed with his aggression and willingness to go at the rim with the ball. Zimmerman had a slick take to the left side for a layup and a baseline take for an and 1.
