Greater Houston: Midseason Prospects To Watch

In his game I watched against Klein Forest, he had about 19 points purely from being a paint player and this didn't even include him scoring from the perimeter at all. Meeks is a high IQ guard/wing who can get a bucket from all three levels and is a very coachable player who will do anything needed to get the win. Hall is a willing passer and possesses great fundamentals on both ends of the floor as well as having the size to make things happen with the basketball. He had a great district game playing against Summer Creek at home and showed his versatility scoring the basketball from all three levels and keeping the momentum up for his team. Buckner is effective getting to the basket and can beat his matchup in a variety of ways. He was effective off the dribble, hitting pull up jumpers over the defense and getting to the rim over contact, drawing fouls and cashing in at the stripe. Peters knows how to control the pace of the offense and run either guard slot as well as facilitating the ball around to his teammates. He didn't play the second half due to injury, but when he was in the game regardless of the score, you could tell that he had an impact at the point guard slot with the way he moved and scored the basketball. He consistently drew fouls and cashed in at the charity stripe as well as driving and dishing to open teammates for shots. He knocked down four threes and had 5 assists in a good demonstration of what is he capable of on the offensive end. Barrett came away with 17 points total from this game and is a big-time threat to score the ball whenever he is on the floor.
