<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1687823' first='Thomas' last='Adams'], Sandia</strong>: Adams and his Matador teammates were on fire in Friday night's 93-63 win over Cleveland in the Albuquerque Metro semifinals. Adams scored 23 points on 7-of-9 shooting + 9-10 FT, grabbed 9 rebounds, dished out 5 assists and made 3 steals. Adams scored 10 of Sandia's first 13 points. Superb all-around performance.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1176300' first='Kenyon' last='Aguino'], Volcano Vista</strong>: Aguino, committed to Montana, again showed why he's the two-time New Mexico MaxPreps Player of the Year as he scored 31 points to lead Volcano Vista over Rio Rancho, 65-59, in the semifinals of the Albuquerque Metro Tournament. Aguino scored 11 points in the fourth quarter when Volcano Vista rallied for the win.</p>
