2025 SG [player_tooltip player_id='1759938' first='Gavin' last='Kramer'] (Northeast) -- 47 points (17-30 FG, 11-20 3P, 2-2 FT), 6 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 steals [vs. Camanche]

A 6-0 combo guard, Kramer had a career game against the Storm last week, dropping 47 points and burying a ridiculous 11 3-pointers. He's a tough, physical guard who is equally adept at serving as a playmaker or a scorer, and on this night, he was really, really feeling it as a dominant three-level scoring threat.

2026 SG [player_tooltip player_id='1765547' first='Benny' last='Waller'] (Aplington-Parkersburg) -- 39 points (13-24 FG, 4-8 3P, 9-14 FT), 3 rebounds, 1 assist, 4 steals [vs. Denver]

A strong, physical guard who doesn't shy away from contact, Waller is a versatile three-level scorer who shoots it at a high clip off the dribble, but who can also use his physical frame to bully his way to the rim for finishes through contact. A-P has been better than expected this year, and Waller is a big reason why.

2025 SG Cameron Dorsey (Camanche) -- 35 points (12-21 FG, 8-14 3P, 3-4 FT), 10 rebounds (7 offensive), 2 steals [vs. Maquoketa]

A 6-1 guard who is enjoying a breakout senior year, Dorsey had his best game of his career against the Cardinals, posting a really impressive double-double. His 10 rebounds were more than 20% of his total rebounds on the season, and he showcased his ability to not only knock down shots from the arc off the dribble, but also get all the way to teh bucket.

2025 SF [player_tooltip player_id='2617534' first='Quinten' last='Gruwell'] (Chariton) -- 30 points (9-23 FG, 5-11 3P, 7-12 FT), 6 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 steals, 1 block [vs. Davis County]

Gruwell didn't have his most efficient game, shooting 39% from the floor, but the Chargers needed every last one of his 30 points in their narrow 3-point win over the Mustangs. He can get to the rim off the dribble, is an athletic finisher who powers through contact, and is a creative, skilled playmaker.

2027 PF [player_tooltip player_id='2379147' first='Reese' last='Montgomery'] (Red Oak) -- 29 points (12-16 FG, 3-3 3P, 2-4 FT), 10 rebounds, 2 steals [vs. Creston]

Montgomery has been fantastic as a sophomore for the Tigers, leading the team in scoring and rebounding, and this was his latest standout showing. His ability to step out and stretch the floor at 6-5 makes him difficult to defend when you pair if with good footwork and touch around the bucket.

2027 SG [player_tooltip player_id='2419787' first='Jake' last='Wegmann'] (Beckman Catholic) -- 28 points (11-22 FG, 1-4 3P, 5-9 FT), 10 rebounds, 6 assists, 1 steal, 1 block [vs. Anamosa]

Wegmann is enjoying the fruits of a growth spurt that now has him listed at 6-5, and that added size has really helped develop his all-around game for the Blazers. He has shown the ability to post up smaller defenders and score, create good looks off the dribble for himself and his teammates, and he has been a force on the glass on both ends of the floor.

2026 C Paxon Applgegate (Central Decatur) -- 23 points (9-11 FG, 5-8 FT), 16 rebounds, 1 assist, 4 steals, 2 blocks [vs. Wayne]

The 6-2 Applegate was dominant on both ends of the floor in the Cardinals win over Wayne, scoring efficiently around the rim, controlling the glass, and protecting the paint defensively.

2028 PF [player_tooltip player_id='2772327' first='Tade' last='Roberts'] (Hudson) -- 10 points (4-9 FG, 2-2 FT), 15 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 blocks [vs. Columbus Catholic]

The Pirates lost nearly everyone from last year's 2A runner-up team and are pretty much starting fresh this season. One of the faces of the new youth movement in Hudson is Roberts, a mobile 6-5 forward who has been extremely productive on both ends of the floor. He has good hands, is a solid athlete, and he's extremely active on both ends of the floor.
