#3 Killdeer vs. Wahpeton: Player Notes

PHD watched an entertaining Class A game on Saturday. The Cowboys from Killdeer came all the way to Wahpeton! The two high schools are 372 miles apart.   This was the 3rd game in three days on the road for Killdeer. The Cowboys played at DLB on Thursday, Friday at Valley City, and Saturday at Wahpeton. The Cowboys headed home with a perfect 3-0 record.   The Huskies had control of this game for the first 3 quarters. Killdeer came out sluggish, it was easy to see that the Cowboys did not have much for legs. However, they fought through it, stayed within striking distance, made clutch shots, got stops when it mattered most, and ultimately came away with the win down the stretch. Heading into the 4th quarter, Killdeer had 26 points, they scored 22 in the 4th quarter, this squad is full of gamers who had just enough in the tank to pull up the win.
