#2 Bishop vs. #5 ORCS: Player Notes

It was a top 10 matchup and it lived up to the hype!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Lions and Knights are both in Region 3 District 6, so the stakes were high. Both squads are located in Minot, so the players, coaches, and fans know each other well.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"fontSize":"small"} --> <p class="has-small-font-size">These two played earlier in the season on December 21st, Bishop Ryan won the first matchup by a score of 64-58.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>There was a ton of talent on the court with many lead changes in the first half. However, in the 2nd half, Bishop Ryan built a lead and never looked back. The Lions clutch/accurate/consistent free throw shooting helped keep the lead and secure the win. The ORCS Knights battled all game and kept it close, but could not get over the hump in the 2nd half. It was an entertaining basketball game.
