In his varsity debut, Fields showcased a little bit of everything that he has in his offensive arsenal, scoring 18 points on 6-15 shooting to go with 3 assists. He's small, still needing to hit his growth spurt at 5-8, but he has an innate feel for the game, is a great ball-handler with tremendous vision, and is a really gifted passer. He's a confident shooter from 3-point range and can use his quickness and handles to get into the teeth of the defense, where he's a threat to get all the way to the rim for a creative finish, hit a floater over a defender, or find an open teammate.

Jackson has a chance to be the best player in the state's 2028 class, and he showcased why in his varsity debut against Mount Pleasant. The 6-4 wing finished with 20 points on 8-11 shooting (3-4 3P), 8 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 steals. Two of his missed shots were on dunk attempts, meaning that he went 8-9 from the floor in his other shots, including an explosive dunk off of a steal, the first of many dunks in his varsity career. He makes everything look effortless on the offensive end, gliding around the floor into open spots. He has a smooth, quick, and high release on his jumper that he can get off against anyone. He's skilled with the ball in his hands, attacking off the dribble and covering a ton of ground. He showed impressive vision and feel for the game offensively, getting his teammates involved at a high clip as well. Defensively, he provides a lot of versatility with his combination of size, athleticism, and length. He has immense potential.

A third Warrior freshman to find himself in the opening night starting lineup, the 6-4 Robertson showed some real potential as well. He's a big, physical big man with a strong frame that he uses to absorb contact around the rim. He has soft hands and good touch, and does a nice job keeping the ball high on his touches. He looks like an offensive lineman, but has the nimble feet of a skilled forward. He battled foul trouble but finished with 6 points, 2 rebounds, an assist, and a steal.

A 5-11 off-ball guard, Helling had 8 points on 2-5 shooting (2-4 3P) in his varsity debut, a loss to Cedar Rapids Washington. He shoots it really well off the catch, showing a quick release and really good off-ball movement. He showed some flashes as a secondary playmaker and ball-handler as well.
