Comments: The Magi pulled a few tricks on the West Fargo squads. In their two games vs. West Fargo and WF Sheyenne, Minot averaged 78.5 ppg and held the opposition to 49.5 ppg. Talk about a dominant performance! [player_tooltip player_id='1177134' first='Aric' last='Winczewski'] took 5 charges on Friday night vs. West Fargo, now that is impressive! Against the Pack, Winczewski led the way with 23 points, and was followed by [player_tooltip player_id='1931467' first='Payton' last='Schell'] with 17, [player_tooltip player_id='1871749' first='Landon' last='Bedell'] 9, [player_tooltip player_id='1177138' first='Grayson' last='Schaeffer'] 8, and [player_tooltip player_id='1931465' first='Fischer' last='Johnson'] 8. It is fair to say that Minot flexed its muscles this weekend against the EDC squads.

Games: L 62-77 to Orono (MN)

Up Next: 12/10/24 @ Moorhead

Comments: Davies played at the Tip-Off Classic at Hopkins. The Eagles took the loss but it was against stiff competition. Orono is loaded with talent and one of the top teams in all of MN. The Eagles battled and put up a strong fight. However, it was not enough against the strong Spartans. Illinois State commit, [player_tooltip player_id='1169136' first='Mason' last='Klabo'] was a dude for the Eagles, he went for 27 points and knocked down multiple triples. [player_tooltip player_id='1332142' first='Colton' last='Reinke'] also had a nice showing and [player_tooltip player_id='2322174' first='Kade' last='Ohlhauser'] shot it well from 3. Davies has an intriguing game on Tuesday against an athletic Moorhead Spuds squad. That game will be a good measuring stick for the Eagles.

Games: W 102-72 over West Fargo Sheyenne, 98-75 over West Fargo. The Demons put a beatdown on the Mustangs and Packers.

Up Next: 12/20/24 @ Minot

Comments: In their two games vs. West Fargo Sheyenne and West Fargo, BHS averaged 100 ppg and held the opposition to 73.5 ppg. Coach Wilhelm had the Demons firing on all cylinders this weekend! Bismarck was on fire from 3-point land. On Friday they hit 18 triples at 62% and 14 on Saturday at 40%. [player_tooltip player_id='1219802' first='Andre'' last='Austin'] was a rockstar in both games and younger brother [player_tooltip player_id='1975416' first='Khaliq' last='Austin'] proved that he belongs on the big stage with the Demons. BHS plays quick, aggressive, intense basketball, and they will overwhelm you with their speed, 3-shooting, rapid substation, and depth. It will be interesting to see if Minot will run with them on December 20th.

Up Next: 12/12/24 @ Gillette (WY) vs. Pine Ridge (SD)

Comments: The Patriots have not played a game yet, but they did scrimmage Devils Lake on Friday night. I imagine that was a good test as the Firebirds are athletic and full of talent. Coming up on Thursday, Century faces the Thorpes from Pine Ridge. This is an interesting matchup as [player_tooltip player_id='1384718' first='Marvin' last='Richard'] from Pine Ridge is a 1st Team All-State player and one of the elite ballers in SD regardless of class. The Thorpes have 2 other nice players with [player_tooltip player_id='1907971' first='Anthony' last='Steele'], and [player_tooltip player_id='2264304' first='Domonic' last='Ghost Bear']. The Pats vs. Thorpes backcourt matchup will be a great one! After Thursday, Century plays Campbell County on Friday, and Thunder Basin on Saturday. How will [player_tooltip player_id='1194507' first='Drew' last='Kempel'], [player_tooltip player_id='1332144' first='Garrett' last='Nissley'], and [player_tooltip player_id='1657448' first='Gibson' last='Kinnebrew'] perform in Wyoming?

Comments: The Midgets averaged 91.5 ppg this weekend and gave up 70. It was an excellent EDC road trip for coach Glasser and the Midgets. They do not have a big low post but Dickinson plays fast, puts on pressure, creates a ton of turnovers, moves the ball, and everyone can shoot the 3. The Midgets are scary! Against Fargo South, the Midgets were led by [player_tooltip player_id='1510889' first='Boston' last='Cranston'] with 23 points, followed by [player_tooltip player_id='1165391' first='Nolan' last='Weidner'] 17, [player_tooltip player_id='1510890' first='Dylan' last='Glasser'] 12, [player_tooltip player_id='2617666' first='Jordan' last='Daychild'] 12, [player_tooltip player_id='1531066' first='Cameron' last='Wolf'] 11, and [player_tooltip player_id='1539675' first='Nathan' last='Stevenson'] with 10 points.
