<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2694539' first='Jordan' last='Aguilar'], Hagerman</strong>: Hagerman is off to an encouraging 5-3 start, and has won four of its last five games. Aguilar is second in points (17.0) and assists per game (2.7) on the Bobcats. In a recent 3-game stretch, he scored 71 points (20+ in every game), stole the ball 9 times and dished out 8 assists. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2694553' first='Jose' last='Alvarez'], Gadsden</strong>: Alvarez is Gadsden's leading scorer (9.0 ppg), rebounder (5.2 rpg) and ball thief (3.0 spg). The Panthers snapped a 4-game losing streak with a victory over Chapparal Friday night.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2694437' first='Cayleb' last='Blea'], Academy For Technology And The Classics</strong>: Blea is excelling on both ends of the floor for Class 3A ATATC. He leads the team in scoring at 12.3 ppg and is averaging 4.7 steals on the defensive end. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2694526' first='Hunter' last='Butler'], La Cueva</strong>: The Bears are in full-blown rebuilding mode and the 6-foot-4 Butler is leading the charge, topping the team in scoring (13.0 ppg) and rebounding (6.6 rpg). He has scored in double figures every game this season with three double-doubles. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2694557' first='Jordan' last='Calladitto'], Thoreau</strong>: Thoreau is off to an encouraging 5-4 start with Calladitto averaging in double figures. He and senior [player_tooltip player_id='2819890' first='Stetson' last='Perry'] are a nice scoring duo.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2694440' first='Nehemiah' last='Chavez'], Penasco</strong>: Class 2A Penasco has shown they can win basketball games early in the season. Chavez is the Panthers' second leading scorer (13.5 ppg) and the top rebounder by a wide margin (9.0 rpg). Penasco's top three players are averaging close to 42 points and over 20 rebounds per game. They'll be a team to watch in March. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2695233' first='Dominic' last='Hernandez'], Rio Grande</strong>: The Ravens have struggled in the early going but Hernadez has been a solid contributor on both ends of the floor. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2694458' first='Bryce' last='Johnson'], Manzano</strong>: The Monarchs are off to an encouraging 5-3 start. Johnson is averaging over 16 points and 9 rebounds per game. He is shooting over 50 percent from the floor, almost 70 percent on 2-point attempts.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2694443' first='Nico' last='Moore'], Oak Grove Classical Academy</strong>: Moore (12.2 ppg) is one of three OGCA players averaging in double figures. Oake Grove could be a dangerous team in March. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2697813' first='Tyler' last='Todorovic'], New Mexico School For The Deaf</strong>: The 6-foot-3 Todorovic could be the ultimate under-the-radar player this season. NMSOD has won four games in a row. Todorovic is averaging 13.2 points and 6.2 rebounds per game, team highs in both categories.</p>
