[player_tooltip player_id='2699281' first='DJ' last='Boardley'] has jumpstarted his 24-25 season by having some impressive games in December, most notably posting 19 points in a win over Parkersburg High. Boardley has the athleticism and length to affect a game in many ways and could be a lock down defender if he chooses. DJ could garner some college interest by the season's end if he stays consistent in his play on both ends, we'll be tracking his progress for sure.

[player_tooltip player_id='2509759' first='Chance' last='Watkins'] has consistently posted double doubles since November and there seems to be no end in sight. The 6'5" big that alot of folks don't know about yet just gets it done in the paint with efficiency in the lane on offense as well as a great knack for tracking the ball on rebounds. Watkins should get some recruiting attention by March if a coach is lucky enough to find him, if not expect to see him on the unsigned senior circuit.

[player_tooltip player_id='2568596' first='Zion' last='Duah'] is very much an unknown commodity, especially since he's in the 6'7" range and moves like he's 6'0". Definitely a player who could develop over a year's time on a college campus and contribute by year two. After seeing Zion in fall league and his level of hustle and athleticism we think he's a player on this list that could even move up by the next ranking.

[player_tooltip player_id='2691004' first='Kaiden' last='Vance'] is possibly known more in the Coalfield region for throwing footballs but as a true athlete he competes hard no matter the sport. Being at a basketball hotbed its no surprise Vance excels on the hardwood as well as the gridiron. Vance has already made a big impact on Westside basketball this year, a team that could go deep into March with players like Kaiden who compete at a high level.

[player_tooltip player_id='2690972' first='Gale' last='Lamb'] has been ready for his opportunity to take the reigns of the Patriots team and run the show and its safe to say he's taken advantage. After watching some GW games its easy to see why they've had the early success. Lamb does an excellent job of controlling tempo, balancing the floor and making the offense flow. Lamb has also shot the ball well from three which never hurts a teams chances. There's no doubt Lamb has the talent to play beyond high school if he wishes.

[player_tooltip player_id='2306372' first='Donavin' last='Penn'] has made the most of his starting opportunity this year and has certainly helped in their success. Penn is quick and athletic with the ball and makes plays to score when he has to. Donavin could be a great on ball defender if he continues his improvement on that end of the floor and will continue to develop into a 2nd or 3rd scoring option.
