[player_tooltip player_id='1338493' first='Aiden' last='Samek'] |5'9 G| West Fargo

Samek has been one of the bright spots for the Packers early in the season, leading the team at 15.8 PPG on 17 made triples. Aiden isn't just on the court for offense, as he is hauling in just over 3 RPG while leading the team with 11 steals. Samek is super quick, relentless, pesky, creative, and a fierce competitor.

[player_tooltip player_id='1531066' first='Cameron' last='Wolf'] |6'4 F| Dickinson

Wolf is a forward who is a tough match-up with his size and ability to hit the 3. He has been rebounding well which has helped immensely with the Midget's early success. What really separates him from other players is his basketball IQ and awareness on the court. Cameron has a great feel for the game. 11.5 ppg, 7.8 rpg, 3 apg, 46.2 FG%, perfect 4-0 record.

[player_tooltip player_id='1632632' first='Artie' last='Carlow'] |6'1 G| Bismarck

His breakout game was in Minot last Friday. Artie is being put into a big role with the absence of [player_tooltip player_id='1657449' first='Weston' last='Scott'] and is thriving. Carlow is one of the most skilled players Coach Wilhelm has coached. Carlow is calm and cool with the ball and dead eye from 3. He is a sneaky strong defender as well. Artie's shake reminds me a bit Treysen E. His hesi-cross to either hand is super-effictive and his smooth shooting stroke is noteworthy. Carlow has grown a ton over the last two years. Artie is going to keep improving as he gets more comfortable playing under the bright lights.

[player_tooltip player_id='1327798' first='Collin' last='Williams'] |6'5 F| Fargo Davies

He is a starter for the 3-1 Eagles. Collin is starting to find his role right now. Heading into Christmas Break he had his best game of his junior year vs Shanley. Williams finished around the basket and rebounded the ball extremely well. Davies is hoping that he will continue with his physical play as a strong and productive forward.

[player_tooltip player_id='1632682' first='Makiya' last='Berryhill'] |6'1 G| Bismarck Legacy

The Sabres and Berryhill are off to a blistering 5-0 start. Makiya is averaging near double figures, providing steady ball handling, moving the basketball, and playing solid defense. Berryhill is a key contributor to the Sabers and his shot continues to improve. Big things are going for Makiya.

[player_tooltip player_id='1541300' first='Cameron' last='Cordero'] |5'9 G| Lisbon

10 ppg, 4 rpg, 3 apg, 2 spg. He was the top returning scorer in Class A this season, so we know this Bronco can put up serious points. Cordero is a high-energy and high-effort type of player. Anytime he steps on the court, he is giving his all. Cam has a smooth/quick pull-up jump shot and is a serious threat from beyond three-point range. He is also a creative scorer off the dribble when going downhill. Cordero creates turnovers & makes positive plays in transition.

[player_tooltip player_id='1632620' first='Hunter' last='Hagler'] |6'3 G/F| North Star

Averaging an impressive 22 points and 16 rebounds per game! The Bearcats lost a strong senior class and now it is time for Hunte to take over. That is exactly what he is doing. The young Hagler has the ball in his hands a ton and he is looking like a playmaker. He is also a highly productive rebounder. Hunter is a great defender, a stat stuffer, and an impressive athlete. I expect Hunter to put up splashy numbers all season long.

[player_tooltip player_id='1765803' first='Jaxon' last='Reese'] |6'5 F| Killdeer

Jaxon is playing very well to start the year. The Cowboys have moved him to the perimeter a little bit more this year, which is making a difficult matchup for opposing teams. Reese is reading the ball well coming off the rim from his teammates and is getting some monster dunks and offensive rebound put-backs. He is also shooting the ball well. When Jaxon has a mismatch with a guard he is utilizing his side game and getting a lot of great looks. The most impressive skill we have seen this year is his defense. Reese is really getting after it. Jaxon is improving his basketball game all the way around.

[player_tooltip player_id='2055924' first='Miken' last='Mattson'] |6'1 G| Valley City

He is starting for the Hi-Liner this season. Mattson has nice length as an offensive-minded guard for VC. He can score the rock from every level. He knocks down jump shots off the dribble and catch. Miken looks good in transition as he can finish in a variety of ways. His three-point shooting range is extended, opposing teams need to account for Mattson. In game 1, Miken went for 12 points and 4 assists against a great DL team. It will be interesting to see what he can do this weekend in the VC Tournament.

[player_tooltip player_id='1798696' first='Brayden' last='Steffens'] |6'1 G| Wahpeton

Brayden has really shot it well early this season, shooting 52% overall. Steffens is very tough to guard off the dribble and he finishes at the rim. His perimeter shooting has been good early this season too. Brayden runs the show for the Huskies as the point guard and is an offensive threat every time he touches it. He's gotten to the FT line 10 times which puts pressure on the defense to shut down his drives to the hoop.
