Shane’s Top Players from Saturday

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This past weekend I went to 10 games in two days seeing teams from all over Ohio. Friday I was at Day 1 of the Holiday Hoopla at the Columbus Convention Center. Then on Saturday, I went to Central Catholic vs Lima Senior as Lima got the 14-point win and to the Steve Williams Classic Championship game as Perrysburg got the win over Liberty-Benton 69-62. This was my first time watching him play and I had high expectations for his athleticism, and it was blown out of the water. He can do it all athletically at an expectational level. He is one of the best guard defenders I have seen. He can guard anyone and lock them down. He has good focus and intensity on that end of the floor. He floats to the rim with insane body control in the air. His size and physicality were a huge difference in both games I have seen him play this year. He is a monster on the boards and a difficult player to keep off them. He did a good job of being patient in the post with the ball. He does a good job of finishing around the rim and jumping towards the rim. He is so good of a scorer that you will not allow him to score. He is going to get his. He does a great job of getting to his spot on the floor and knocking down shots. He is good at getting to his right hand and getting all the way to the rim. He uses his length great to get to the rim. He seemed to have a tough game but when you looked at the scoreboard he was pushing 20 points. His midrange game is become a big weapon for him. He does a good job of stopping on a dime and pulling up. He hit tough floaters and was one of the few players who attacked Lima Senior pressure with confidence and made them pay for it. He is a true threat for scoring the ball. He was incredible on the glass on both ends of the floor. Used his length well to grab rebounds but his relentless effort was noteworthy. He was knocking down threes consistently. He could also get all the way to the basket too.
