Expert Analysis

Holler is a talented wing with the skillset to be a very good player at the next level. He’s a three-level scorer who has really improved his ability to slash and get to the rim, while also being a reliable shooter. His versatility allows him to impact the game in different ways, and he plays with a confidence that is hard to miss. I expect Holler to have a big day and prove just how solid his all-around game has become.

When looking at small college wings that have success at the college level, a lot of them do the same things that Holler does right now. Physically, Holler has the length to guard multiple positions and play within different defensive systems. Offensively, Holler can dribble, pass and shoot on the perimeter and rebounds the basketball. He averaged 13-6-3 as a Junior and shot almost 90% from the free throw line and 60% from 2-point range. His high level of production during the high school season has carried over into the grassroots season with Ohio Buckets (Black). I expect Holler to be a priority for regional small college programs this summer and fall.

One of the players I was most excited to watch this weekend, Holler had a nice game connecting on four 3-pointers in Ohio Buckets Black opening game of the weekend. With good size and length on the wing, Holler can get steals and defensive rebounds to start fast break opportunities for his team. Connecting on four 3-pointers as well, Holler seemed to find the ball in the right place at the right time to score. After sharing the spotlight last season for Liberty Benton, Holler is the unquestioned leader this season as he looks to keep his program among NW Ohio’s best.

Holler was a player that seemed to be in the right spot and at the right time all game. He was incredible on the glass on both ends of the floor. Used his length well to grab rebounds but his relentless effort was noteworthy. He was knocking down threes consistently. He could also get all the way to the basket too. He plays hard and with a high motor and is willing to do the small things.
