The No. 5 ranked prospect in our 2025 rankings continues to impress during the early portion of his senior season. A few nights ago, Booker (George Mason commit) scored 31 points in a Cristo Rey's victory over an ANC squad that should challenge for the PAISAA state title. Booker's length, quick second jump and nose for the ball enabled him to frequently convert offensive rebounds into buckets. He grabbed 10 total rebounds. Booker also destroyed ANC with his transition scoring. Plus, Booker's shooting stroke was on fire as he drained 2 threes and was 18 for 18 from the free throw line.

A great deal of PV's scoring punch from 2023-24 was lost to graduation. So, most hoop heads thought the Vikings would struggle to put points on the scoreboard this season. But Harken (RIT Commit) had stepped in and filled the void nicely. Last night during PV's win over Norristown, this high IQ and versatile prospect with an accurate jump shot poured in a school record 51 points. Harken's ability to get to the rim off the dribble was on full display. He also hit a number of stop-n-pop jumpers. Harken splashed from deep too, as he popped 3 threes. His 15 of 20 shooting from the free throw line was impressive as well.

This long and athletic hybrid-forward is well known for his 3-point shooting. But recently during a win over Phelps School, Johns showed the full range of his versatile skill set in a 30-point effort. Johns pushed the rock in transition for scores and assists. He also crashed the offensive glass and converted through contact. Johns showed he can get to the rack off the bounce too. The wing-forward did hit 2 threes for good measure. Johns holds an offer from Jefferson University (D3), and we expect more are on the way.

It was an incredible week for this shooting guard who was a 1st Team All-BAL selection last season. Verbit started his week with a double double of 28 points and 14 rebounds against Collegium Charter. He followed up that performance with 33 points against Harry Truman. For an encore, Verbit poured in 36 points versus Renaissance Academy. Across those three scoring outbursts, Verbit had a habit of knifing through passing lanes for steals and then going coast to coast for a lay-in. In the half-court he scored at every level and was especially lethal with his jump shot.. As a nice bonus, Verbit averaged 9 rebounds per contest over that three-game stretch.
