The season is still early, but the perennial 4A dominance of the Pirates might be over for at least one season, or is it just early season feeling out period playing good opponents? Park Center is 1-3 through 4 games losing to Minneapolis Washburn and DeLaSalle previously. We have not seen a Pirates team lose by this type of margin in a long while. We'll have to keep our eyes peeled in the coming weeks and months.

[player_tooltip player_id='2103407' first='Caiden' last='Schjenken'] - The six-foot-two-inch senior guard from Deer River put up a massive 41 point game versus Two Harbors while making 5 3-pointers. Schjenken is athletic enough to cut baseline and dunk the ball home, and gets up pretty well enough off two feet. That leaping ability gives him good chances of grabbing rebounds from opponents. Schjenken plays mostly off the ball for Deer River on the wing as a combo guard which enables him to let the ball fly. Schjenken averaged almost 22 points per game last season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1874931' first='Shiloh' last='Ayitey'] - The six-foot-one-inch 2026 guard from Blaine blew up for 32 points versus Andover in win Thursday. Ayitey is a fast, quick perimeter guard that slashes through defenses with a combination of good ball handling and quick feet. Defensively his hands are active and he can be a pest as a on-ball defender. As a help defender, although not tall, his quick jumping and athletic ability enables him to come from behind to make blocks.

Julian Greer Jr. - Greer scored 21 of Two Rivers' first 25 points on his way to a 24-point first half and finished with 34 points for Two Rivers versus St. Paul Highland Park in their win Thursday night. Greer hit 5 triples and showcased good range on his 5th in the 2nd half. The Warriors wing shows potential as a secondary ball handler scorer on the wing in the 2026 class.

[player_tooltip player_id='2399176' first='Bryce' last='Paumen'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2399138' first='Landon' last='Peterson'] lead Becker to 92-77 win over St Francis

Paumen is a six-foot-three-inch 2026 forward from Becker who scored 30 points for the Bulldogs. Paumen got to the free throw line for 10 tries and made 11 field goals. Paumen does a solid job deflecting passes and shares the ball. Peterson is a six-foot-one-inch 2026 guard who hit 4 3s on his way to 25 points. Peterson gets up and down the court quickly and plays with good pace.

[player_tooltip player_id='1560807' first='Isaac' last='Olmstead'] - The 2026 Olmstead had a great spring and summer playing for [program_tooltip program_id='2075672' first='Minnesota' last='Fury'] and that play continues. The 2026 guard led the [program_tooltip program_id='2075965' first='Trojans' last=''] with 23 points in a win over tough Lakeville North Friday night.

Devin Bahr - 2025 Senior of Lester Prairie scored 37 points versus GSL.

[player_tooltip player_id='1428994' first='Hudson' last='Hochstedler'] - Senior guard scored 25 points versus Elk River Friday Night. Hochstedler shot the ball well from distance, used his dribble to give himself and others opportunities, and got into passing lanes to be disruptive.

Layton Bottolfson - The five-foot-ten-inch 2025 senior came off the bench to bury 5 3-pointers for the Knights. Bottolfson shot with great confidence and too many times Elks players left him open to hit shots.

[player_tooltip player_id='2119645' first='Tyrel' last='Pride'] - The Governors won their 4th straight led by the 2026 guard who had 26 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists versus St. Agnes. Pride has been playing very well for the Governors as he does very well slashing to the rim from the wing. Pride has shown ability to shoot from the perimeter and is a pesky defender.
