Jalen really impressed me with his hard play, energy, and effort. He brings size off the bench and physical inside play. He understands his role, and he plays it with no reservations. He is going to bang, throw his body around, and go after every rebound. He isn't going to give you a lot in point production, but he brings toughness and physicality to a team with several primary scoring options. He can pay alongside [player_tooltip player_id='1958490' first='Milton' last='Jones'], allowing him to step out onto the perimeter more, or he can give Milton time to go to the bench and get a blow. With another year under his belt, I truly believe this kid can find a role somewhere on the next level.

It has been a while since I have seen Rashaun in action, but he has done nothing but get better as a lead guard. He has grown as a leader, and his mental toughness was seen with his continued aggressive play even when the scoreboard was not what his team desired. He has a strong mix of dribble moves and a quick first step, making it tough for opposing defenders to contain him. He is a solid finisher in the paint and at the cup. He has vision and passing skills and does a good job creating off the bounce.

If I was doing a sniper school article, he would definitely be in the article, as he made at least three trey balls in the game I was watching.
The player whose stock rose the most at the classic was no doubt Gage. The last time I laid eyes on Gage, he was an athletic interior player who was still growing his offensive game. He has grown a few inches, and the athleticism is still there, but what is new is his versatility and play on the perimeter. He showed that he could initiate the offense, make plays off the bounce, and even showed a really nice three-point shot. With what he showed over the weekend, talks immediately started about whether or not he is now a top 5 player in his class.
