He worked hard on the glass on both ends of the floor and showed some pretty touch with a turn around flip in bucket. Dale proved to be in good physical condition and he used it in the 2nd half. He got behind the defense by beating down the floor, caught the passes and converted high percentage looks.

Cotuna will be a player to watch this season and college coaches will want him on their radar. He's a next level talent. The best part is, Cotuna doesn't have to score to influence the game. He had at least 4 deflections (the 4 I know of all led to turnovers)m at least 3 blocks and a handful of offensive boards.

I was really impressed with what Ravenell brought to the table. He was a long and athletic 2 way post player. Ravenell had a few blocks and did a nice job walling up and basically sealing off the rim. He was very active on the glass which led to points or possession extension.

I don't even want to give Iadipaolo a position. Last time I saw him play, he had the ball in his hands a bunch, hence the PG by his name. Ignore that. This time, he looked chiseled, strong and physical. Iadipaolo showed that he could play tough with taller players and win position under the rim. He led Saline with 15 rebounds in the win against Detroit Lincoln-King.

Martin has a lot to offer as a player and prospect. He's a versatile forward that looked comfortable playing both in the paint and the perimeter. Martin battled on the glass on both ends of the floor. He also showed that he could get out in transition and score.

#10 for Clarenceville (roster was unavailable) - I really liked this post player. He used his length to catch the ball high at the free throw line. When he got it, he could attack with a 2 dribble drive to the right. He showed a spin and finish over his right shoulder as well. He was extremely active on the offensive glass in the second half.

It's early in the season, but the action has been exciting already. I've been in gyms evaluating players and am going to give you a look at some post players that I've seen in 2 specific games - a Livonia Franklin win against Clarenceville and a Saline victory against Detroit Lincoln King.
