Thanksgiving week I attended five tournaments and one stand alone game for exactly 24 games and 48 different teams. The events I watched were Phoenix Union Coyote Classic at Central HS, Beyond Basketball Thanksgiving Basketball Tournament at Moon Valley, Millennium at Sandra Day O'Connor, Fear The Hop Tournament at Mesa HS, Sentinel Holiday Classic at Seton Catholic and Horizon Honors and lastly the LV8 Invitational at Chandler-Gilbert CC.

Here were some 2028 Forward Standouts

[player_tooltip player_id='1956218' first='Marcus' last='Isaac'] Mountain Pointe (Pictured)

A long and quickly growing power forward has good upside. He shoots it easily with pull-ups from mid-range, which has really become a weapon for him. His length and mobility allow him to rebound and block shots in and out of his area. He is a sneaky good passer for position and is just scratching the surface of his potential.

[player_tooltip player_id='2552737' first='Jaden' last='Morgan'] Sunrise Mountain

A power forward who can score with offensive rebound put backs with a nice touch and rebounds well in his area as he keeps the ball high. He sets good picks and will roll to score and will play hard on defense.

[player_tooltip player_id='2552784' first='Emir' last='Konicanin'] Paradise Valley

A highly skilled wing forward who can rattle in jumpers from mid to the three point line off the catch. He will jump stop and score and has a nice bag of runners and floaters. He uses his strength to rebound in his area and plays with a big IQ.

[player_tooltip player_id='2552733' first='Donovan' last='Palmer'] Chandler

A long post player who moves well from end to end. He rebounds and block shots in his area with strong hands. He is a sneaky good passer and will rip thru and go to work. He works well on the glass and score on put backs or get fouled. His presence alone is becoming a problem for the opposing teams.

[player_tooltip player_id='2107225' first='Mike' last='McIntyre'] Williams Field

The big man fought hard versus Koa and co. of Perry. He can score with hook shots, rip thru and score with longer strides and stays active to rebound at a good clip in and out of his area.

[player_tooltip player_id='2507246' first='Quincee' last='Wilson'] Kellis

A long and lean forward is a natural offensive rebounder. He will face-up to the three point line with a nice shooting stroke. He uses ball fakes inside and will go up to score or get fouled. He is an active rebounder in and out of his area using his size and length.

[player_tooltip player_id='2674718' first='Ashton' last='Ries'] Seton Catholic

A long power forward is a newcomer for me who is active inside the paint. He will do some dirty work for the Sentinels with taking charges and rebounds well in his area with a plus motor.
