<p>Thanksgiving week I attended five tournaments and one stand alone game for exactly 24 games and 48 different teams. The events I watched were <strong>Phoenix Union Coyote Classic</strong> at Central HS, <strong>Beyond Basketball Thanksgiving Basketball Tournament</strong> at Moon Valley, <strong>Millennium at Sandra Day O'Connor, Fear The Hop Tournament</strong> at Mesa HS, <strong>Sentinel Holiday Classic</strong> at Seton Catholic and Horizon Honors and lastly the <strong>LV8 Invitational</strong> at Chandler-Gilbert CC. </p>

<p>A long and lean forward who rebounds well. He can dunk it on the break with some bounce and block shots in and out of his area. He can euro down the lane to score it with reverse layups and can step out and shoot the three. </p>

<p>A good sized combo guard who can score with transition buckets and catch threes. He can get a step on his defenders and get to the basket to score or get fouled. He scored 12 points. </p>

<p>One of the better on-ball defenders in the senior class only scored three points but his presence was felt the entire game. He is a good passer and hit the catch three but his defense was stifling and made it very difficult to score on him with his quicker feet and hands. </p>

<p>A scoring guard is their top scorer. He only had 9 points, which is lower for him, but the defense inches over to him every time he touches the ball since they respect his game. He has the floater game and will score with pull-ups and inside. He is also a good passer up the court with improving court vision and awareness. He made a few nice dump offs with a live dribble. </p>

<p>A scoring combo guard scored 9 points with mid-range pull-ups, downhill takes with a quick burst, tough drives with a nice handle and he has some athleticism and speed in the open court he can utilize. </p>

<p>A scoring guard with a high arcing stroke from the three point line with plus range. He can also score with driving layups in the half court set and on the break. He will have many big games during the season and he scored 12 points. </p>

<p>A stronger framed scoring guard can rattle in buckets. He can get downhill to score in the painted area and uses the floater game. He will score with ball fakes into the paint and put up 11 points. </p>

<p>A combo guard scored 10 points with threes with deep range and a quick trigger off the catch. He moves without the ball and sets up in ready mode to shoot it. He will ball fake into a drive, he cuts when he should and gives the Jackrabbits a needed shooter to play off of Miles. </p>

<p>A <strong>Lycoming </strong>college commit scored 10 points. He scores with speed dribble drives with a burst to get past his defenders and deep threes off the catch with real range. He is a good passer and will make the extra pass to give a teammate a better shot. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2108098' first='Brendan' last='Goodman'] Paradise Valley</strong></p>

<p>A cerebral and tough undersized scoring point guard. He makes smart reads to teammates and can defend on the ball with quick feet. He shoots the three and can dribble drive to the basket. He scored 13 points, he can make plays and rebounds well.</p>

<p>A strong framed wing forward with decent size can score and rebound. He scores often on offensive rebound put backs. He will score and-1's in traffic and he gets good positioning and boxes out his opponents well. He scored 9 points. </p>

<p>A lefty scoring point guard has a nice three point shooting stroke. He is primarily a catch three point shooter but he can shoot it off the dribble with pull-ups. He smartly plays off of the pick and roll game and usually finds a teammate or will let it fly. He scored 12 points and brings that senior leadership. </p>
