POY: [player_tooltip player_id='1956061' first='Sincere' last='Jones'] | 6'7” SF | Churchland '25

Jones comes in as the favorite to win POY in Class 4 after being a First Team All State selection last season, and his Churchland team has a chance to win it all being him if he's able to get the job done. The Virginia Tech commit is a do-it-all wing who can play all over the floor with his athleticism, and there aren't going to be many players who can match up with him no matter who they play. He's a high motor guy who thrives in transition with his above the rim playing style, he knocks down open shots at a good clip, he can isolate and create shots for himself and others as well as dominate the glass and make plays defensively too.

[player_tooltip player_id='2353665' first='Will' last='Braun-Duin'] | 6'2” SG | Handley '27

Bruan-Duin was a Second Team All State selection as just a freshman at Handley, and after the big summer he had with [program_tooltip program_id='2226248' first='Boo' last='Williams'] he's in a spot to help lead Handley on another deep run this season. The 6'2” guard out of Winchester is one of the best shooters in the state, with in the gym range and the ability to knock down shots off the bounce and off the catch at a very high clip. He sets his feet quickly and is able to make shots consistently on the move, he can work out of pick-and-rolls and isolation situations off the bounce and he's a very good scorer from all three levels that can absolutely take over games.

[player_tooltip player_id='2242387' first='Tykie' last='Jones'] | 6'4” SF | Henrico '25

Jones was also a Second Team All State selection last year, and is the senior leader on a talented Henrico team that could surprise a lot of people this season. The 6'4” wing is as productive as they come, as he's a constant double-double threat who plays with a great motor and scores the ball efficiently in different ways. He's excellent in the midrange both on post ups and off the bounce, he can attack downhill and finish at the rim, he can knock down open shots and he is aggressive on the glass and defensive end too.

[player_tooltip player_id='2459244' first='Amare' last='Cooper'] | 6'2” PG | Monacan '26

Cooper showed flashes as a sophomore at Monacan with some big scoring games last year, and he's already showed this season that there's much more of that to come with a 43 point outing already this year. One of the top scoring guards in the Richmond area, he oozes confidence as a natural bucket getter who can fill it up all over the floor and create shots with the ball in his hands. He has good wiggle and changes speeds well to keep defenders off balance, he's a crafty finisher around the rim in traffic and he can create space and hit tough shots both from deep and from the midrange area too.

[player_tooltip player_id='2612840' first='Abraham' last='Taft'] | 6'5” SF | Hampton '26

Taft was an excellent role player for the Crabbers on their run to the state championship last season, and with their top two players graduating he'll have a chance to do more on the offensive end this season. The 6'5” wing is a highly intriguing prospect with his blend of size, athleticism and high motor that makes him very impactful in a number of ways. He's a very good rebounder for his position and gets extra opportunities on the offensive end, he can start the break or run in transition where he uses his athleticism to finish above the rim, he can post smaller defenders and he's improved on his perimeter shot making and creating as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='2452107' first='Knox' last='Axselle'] | 6'4” SG | Atlee '25

Axselle is coming off a great summer with Team Richmond and a great preseason with Atlee where he showed he's capable of putting up big numbers, and the CNU commit is set to have a great season for a Raiders team that could be a dark horse this year. The 6'4” wing is an absolute sniper from deep who doesn't need much room to get his shot off and is confident letting it fly from all over the place. He's shown he's more than just a shooter as he can attack downhill and is a strong finisher though contact, he shows good athleticism in transition and plays with a great motor and IQ on the defensive end too.

[player_tooltip player_id='2548280' first='Adam' last='Perdue'] | 6'4” SG | Broad Run '26

Perdue is one of the more underrated players in Loudoun County this season, as he's set to have a breakout junior season with his ability to fill it up in bunches on a consistent basis. The 6'4” wing has good size on the perimeter with long arms to get deflections and challenge shots defensively, and offensively he is a versatile weapon that can burn you in a number of different ways. He has in the gym range and a quick release to get his shot off, he can attack closeouts and get to spots off the bounce and he moves well off the ball to get easy looks against aggressive defenses.
