<p>The Bulldogs defeated the Cavaliers after leading pretty much all night long. The Bulldogs led 14-13 at the end of the first quarter and never looked back. Junior guard <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2456214' first='Ean' last='Mitchell']</strong> led the way with 18 points tonight in the win. Mitchell was able to score several uncontested layups in transition from the left-side of the basket. Ean connected on some short mid-range jumpers along the way tonight.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2498310' first='Amos' last='Jones']</strong> a senior guard finished with 13 points in the win. Jones is in his first season after transferring in from Keenan HS up in the Midlands. Amos is a scorer and really has the ability to create his own shot and get a bucket in a hurry. Jones has a quick 1st step to race by defenders and especially why stalking the baseline. </p>

<p>The Cavaliers never could catch up after the 1st quarter break. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2376079' first='Joshua' last='Caleb Nunn Jr'] </strong>and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2470145' first='Emmanuel' last='Ard']</strong> both finished with 9 points apiece in the loss. Nunn came over this off season after watching him with Spring Valley HS in June at the USC Team Camp. Nunn before that attended Ridge View HS. Nunn is a combo forward for the Cavaliers.</p>

<p>The Tigers cruised to a 22-11 lead at the end of the first quarter vs the host Bears. Senior <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2575504' first='Avery' last='Brantley']</strong> led a balanced attack with 15 points tonight. Avery was able connect on some open looks from the perimeter. </p>

<p>Senior <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2638727' first='Kayleb' last='McKinnon']</strong> brings a lot of energy and effort every time out for the Tigers. McKinnon isn't flashy in what he does but he seems to be productive. The active bodied wing player constantly plays around the ball. He was able to slash to the bucket tonight while finishing with 12 points. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2044349' first='Trevon' last='Johnson']</strong> is a jet quick point guard for the Tigers. Johnson who finished with 10 points was able to get the ball into the gaps and touch the paint all night long. Trevon does a great job of keeping the ball low to the ground. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1032756' first='Javion' last='Crawford']</strong> a senior post player and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1824185' first='Jordan' last='Jenkins']</strong> both finished with 8 points and 7 points respectively. Crawford does a nice job of keeping the ball up high after claiming it off the glass. He has a soft set of hands to finish around the bucket with a nice jump hook from time to time. </p>

<p>Jenkins really likes to attack the cup when given the opportunity from the top of the key or stalking the baseline. Jordan recently returned to the team after starting the season off injured. The Tigers are currently (8-2) on the young season. </p>
