Lived in the passing lanes on defense and at the rim, using his long arms to deflect passes, block shots and corral rebounds. Was often in attack mode, pushing it himself off turnovers and rebounds. Offensively, he did a lot of his damage off the dribble with outstanding body control and handles for his size and age. Finishing through contact on fouls. Along with the transition passing, he saw a double team coming and had a great feed to a cutting teammate. Especially with the way he played out of ball screens, patient and making the right reads to teammates. Scored when needed, included pull up threes. Had a good first step, and was tough when going downhill. Needs to continue to work on counter dribble moves, as there were times a quicker change of direction could've led to even better looks. Shot it better from the perimeter in the second half, with more looks coming in rhythm off screens, dribble handoffs or spot up opportunities. Also did some good work on drives, with a runners/floaters. Along with the shooting, had a couple good drives to the rim. Hit a nice crossover into a lefty finish, showing he's ambidextrous as a finisher. Can hit spin moves as a counter when driving as well. Sets hard screens on offense, combined with good rolls to the rim. Knows how to move to space or use his frame to seal well while off the ball. Fights for rebounds, while also capable of hitting in the 8 to 15 foot range.
