Garriott is a smooth guard, who did his work in the mid-range and getting to the rim. To go along with his smooth handles, he has great hang time to get off shots in the mid-range. Makes it easy for him to rise up and score even on similar size guards. Crafty guard, who’s old school mid-range game and ability makes him a tough to cover scorer.

The main man for the Academy, was a quieter scoring night but still looked a cut above. Especially with the way he played out of ball screens, patient and making the right reads to teammates. Scored when needed, included pull up threes. Had a good first step, and was tough when going downhill. Needs to continue to work on counter dribble moves, as there were times a quicker change of direction could’ve led to even better looks. Rock solid junior guard, who will be among the more productive players in the small school ranks.
