Trey is the King of 2026...for now. [player_tooltip player_id='1959160' first='Trey' last='Thompson'], a power forward, is nipping at his heels. Pearson made it through another update holding on to the throne though. Pearson is currently missing time with an injury. Expect him back in December.

Few juniors in Tennessee helped themselves more in 2024's summer than [player_tooltip player_id='1575564' first='Kameron' last='Bowers']. Running the show for Team Mookie 16u, a program on the ascendancy, Bowers demonstrated improving on-ball defense to compliment his already proven top shelf penetrating.

Bowers averaged 24.5 ppg the first week of his junior year.

Sure, Isiah defers on the offensive end most nights, but the team can win without him scoring 15 ppg this year as they are loaded with a strong senior class. Watch in the coming 18 months though. Ring will provide enough evidence throughout his 17u season and that 2025-2026 campaign that he belongs in the Top 75, possibly the Top 50. Naturally strong. Maybe a combo right now.
Two-sport athlete, [player_tooltip player_id='2451543' first='Jax' last='McCoy'] is the younger brother of Mays McCoy (Fairview '24). Jax is a much different player than Mays, a big-bodied point forward. Jax is a scoring guard with agility.

He carried the eighth-grade group to the semifinals for the middle school. His biggest thing is not the type of kid that wants to stand out. He kind of mentally reset as a freshman, but built some confidence over the summer. Jax struggled to shoot the beginning of the year. He really struggled. I kind of put him back in the jv program. Down the stretch, he was able to really help when Mays went down. He is smart. Great work ethic. Can really shoot the ball. I thought he played phenomenal against South Gibson and Brainerd. He had 1 turnover against Brainerd. With [player_tooltip player_id='1387694' first='Boo' last='Carter'] guarding him. That is a five-star point guard guarding him. He is just a poker face. You can't tell if he is up or down. Mays wears every emotion on his face. Jax, you never know. I think that kind of mentality helped him a lot stepping into that spot. - Fairview Head Coach Trey McCoy 4/12/23
