Granger 1-11 (3-18)<br><br><strong>2024-25 Picks</strong><br><strong><br>1.&nbsp;Juan Diego</strong>— Even though Juan Diego lost there best player from last season they will have a few players this year that will not only hve more scoring opportunities they will also have experience. [player_tooltip player_id='1964621' first='Luke' last='Meyer'] has an opportunity to dominate in the paint in this region. He has the size and footwork inside. [player_tooltip player_id='2302949' first='Stockton' last='Young'] is a good player that has next level playing ability. Good size and he plays withing the offense. [player_tooltip player_id='1568003' first='Deng' last='Deng'] is a new name you will see emerge. He is an athlete that has grown a few inches since last season. [player_tooltip player_id='2343770' first='Hunter' last='Chamberlain'] is another player that could easily get things going.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>2.Cyprus</strong>— Cyprus is still young but they have more experience and a few of their players have just developed this past year. [player_tooltip player_id='2610511' first='Koli' last='C. Fosita'] is a really good player that has really made a step up in his skill level. He is athletic and he has that burst and first step that can beat almost anyone one on one. He is shooting well and he has found some spots where he can score at a high percentage. Payden Sharp is much improved and this kid can shoot. A kid that should shine this season will be [player_tooltip player_id='1547879' first='Beckham' last='Bayles'], this kid can go. Keep an eye on this team, they will play hard and the right way. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><br><strong>3.&nbsp;Hunter</strong>— It seems as if [player_tooltip player_id='1369727' first='Dominick' last='Phannolath'] has been at Hunter for 6 years but he is entering his senior season and he is going to score the ball. He has a lot more help this year so watch out as this team could be much more improved than in years past. Hunter will have a new kid on the roster named [player_tooltip player_id='2610505' first='Jayden' last='Silas'], He is a good all-around player that has some size. Could be a huge addition and help to get this team to move up the rankings. Kianu Da SIlva will be much improved. West Jordan</strong>— WJ had a really good season last year in region play. They did lose a lot of pieces from last years team and they will need to rely on a few new names. Look for West Jordan to have a lot of new players make their varsity debut's. <br><br><strong>4. Kearns—</strong> Kearns could be a sleeper team. They will have a new PG in [player_tooltip player_id='1278512' first='Xian' last='Brown'] that is over there now and he has been a player that has improved over the years. Darin Detvongsa has a chance to pick up some of the scoring slack. [player_tooltip player_id='2536929' first='Kaden' last='Stark'] has some size and he will be a much improved player on the floor for Kearns. Look for [player_tooltip player_id='2536907' first='Isaiah' last='Cruz'] to be a player that can come in and pick up the scoring slack as well. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>4. Taylorsville</strong>– Taylorsville has a chance to suprise a lot of people and some of that starts with [player_tooltip player_id='1551260' first='Kobe' last='Allen']. Allen was good last year and they need him to be great this season to make a big jump. [player_tooltip player_id='2273732' first='David' last='Aukusitino'] will need to make a leap in his development. Logan Pokorny was solid last season. He will need to be a near double-double player and he is capable but that could help t-ville a lot. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>5. <strong>Granger</strong>- The Lancers have their work cut out for them.
