Paulino came off the board this week when he announced his commitment to the University at Albany. After missing some time with injury, Paulino saw his recruitment steadily increase this fall after a few strong showings. A big combo guard, he's the ultimate competitior on both ends of the floor. Defensively, he has great length, quick feet, and the ability to read plays before they develop. He's the type of prospect that can change the course of a game with his impact on that end of the floor. Offensively, he's a gifted scorer that is capable of playing on or off the basketball. He has some burst off the bounce, is an impressive athlete, and has turned himself into a terrific finisher around the rim. He's equally adept at getting his own and setting up his teammates, making him a difficult cover on that end of the floor. Albany lands one of New England's hidden gems, with Paulino projecting to be a do-it-all guard down the line in the America East.

Bethel finalized his plans for next year when he announced that he will attend Stevens Institute of Technology. A terrific multiple level scorer, Bethel has had a major impact at North Andover the last three years. Operating primarily off the ball, he's done a great job of developing his offensive skillset. He's a strong perimeter shooter, does a great job of attacking closeouts, and is a crafty finisher around the rim. He has nice burst, utilizes shot fakes, and is a willing ball mover. Defensively, he's physical on the ball, is a good positional rebounder, and plays with a high IQ. He's both gritty and competitive on that end of the floor. Stevens gets a nice early recruit in Bethel, a prospect that has continued to get better with each passing year, who has a chance to make an immediate impact in the Middle Atlantic Conference.

Gittens put an end to his recruitment with a commitment to Sacred Heart University. An athletic, playmaking guard, Gittens came out of the summer as a stock riser after running with The House We Built. He is dynamic with the ball in his hands, does a great job of playing at different speeds, and has terrific burst in tight spaces. Although lean, he's not afraid of physicality and does a great job of finishing with strength at the rim. He's a big time scorer, developing playmaker, and super competitor. Defensively, he has lockdown tools when you consider his positional size, athleticism, length, and how hard he plays. Sacred Heart continues to build a nice class with Gittens, who profiles as a dynamic guard that could make a big impact in the MAAC.

Grodin ended his recruitment with a pledge to Fordham University. A big wing that can impact a game without scoring, Grodin is the ultimate team first guy who does whatever is needed to win basketball games. He's a willing ball mover, good offensive rebounder, and is comfortable making plays off the bounce. He has a good basketball IQ, makes good reads out of ball screens, and does a good job of moving without the ball. He's a capable scorer that can consistently knock down perimeter jumpers, but has also showed an ability to score over size in the paint. Defensively, he has a lot of versatility and is capable of guarding up or down a position. He has good length, isn't afraid to step in and take a charge, and does a great job in rotation. Fordham did a gets a recruiting win by bringing Grodin back to New York, as the big guard profiles as a future all-league type performer in the Atlantic 10.
