High School Spotlight: Warren Central Warriors

The season is still a month away, but with practices happening, it is the perfect time to start previewing the season. In this series, we will be taking a look at some quick hitters, the top player(s), a potential breakout player, other roster members, and notable games for the upcoming season. Incase you don't pay enough attention, the Warriors have one of the better guard-big duos in the Indianapolis area in senior power forward [player_tooltip player_id='1297060' first='Jevon' last='Guess'] and sophomore guard [player_tooltip player_id='2140392' first='JJ' last='Craig']. With Guess, he has been a constant force for the Warriors down low ever since his freshman season and really caught the eyes of many over the spring/summer showing off his improvements in his overall game. Craig is going to be star of this Warren Central team before too long as he is a so-it-all type guard and plays with a ton of physicality. Together, these two could lead Warren Central to a special season. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Potential Breakout Player: [player_tooltip player_id='2267044' first='Kaleb' last='Elkins']<a href="https://prephoops.com/player/jeremiah-bellamy/"></a></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2140392' first='JJ' last='Craig'] is not the only talented sophomore on this Warren Central team this season with his backcourt running mate [player_tooltip player_id='2267044' first='Kaleb' last='Elkins'] looking to make a major leap this season. Elkins, a 6'1 shooting guard, is a left-handed guard that can play both on and off the ball a high level. He played some varsity last season but is expected to be a major piece to the puzzle this season.
