Fortune Early Showcase Newcomers II

PH NorCal is always on the lookout for new prospects in Norther California. The Fortune Early Showcase produced newcomers who played well enough to go on the Player Watch List. Which means we'll see them again during the season.    Ramsey has a reliable mid-range jump shot. He'll use his dribble to attack from different areas including the baseline, he'll pass it or pull up for paint jumpers. He has strength, a solid body, and moves laterally, he doesn't give up on drivers to the basket.       He's a good ball handling combo guard that gets aggressive looking and probing the perimeter for quick hitter 3 pointers if it's there. He hit three 3 pointers. He had multiple drives into the paint using floaters challenging shot blockers. He had good post entry passes.     He has a good upside, still trying to find ways to contribute and stay on the court. He gives effort off the bench. He's strong with a solid body to receive and finish inside, help rebound, and defend bigger players in the post area.     He was one of the better players coming off the bench, and contributing in a way that lifted his team. The long wing type player was active on the boards. He has length, foot speed, and lateral movement that caused some problems on defense. He drove into the paint for points, had transition baskets, and a couple of blocks.     He'll be a valuable piece at some point during the season. He's still getting the rust off from football. He's long, wiry, and was active in the second half. He plays out on the perimeter disrupting passes with his long wingspan. He got a few steals that turned into points. He used a dribble, along with long strides to get into the paint.     He'll be most effective defending and rebounding when he gets football out of his system. He has good size and movement to man the paint. He's a target coming across the lane, can post up finishing with a jump hook. He got offensive rebounds and a few tap ins. He'll change, and block a few shots.
