<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Standout Class of 2025 guard [player_tooltip player_id='1419869' first='Corbin' last='Allen'] of Oak Park has given a commitment to the University of San Diego.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The versatile 6'5" point guard made his announcement on his social media account on Thursday afternoon. Allen is currently No. 4 in the current Prep Hoops Missouri Class of 2025 rankings.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Allen has been a standout player for the Northmen since entering the program as a freshman. He has played point guard for Oak Park, but he can excel anywhere on the floor with his size, tenacity and all around offensive skill set.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>As a junior, Allen led Oak Park to a Final Four appearance in the Class 6 state tournament. He averaged 16.8 points, 7.9 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.7 steals a game in leading the Northmen to a 27-5 record and a fourth place finish. As a sophomore, he averaged 16.7 points, 8.7 rebounds and 3.1 assists to lead Oak Park to a 27-2 record.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Allen returns as a senior to lead a talented and experienced team that will once again be one of the top contenders in Class 6 this season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>San Diego is a member of the West Coast Conference; a very competitive league that features perennial power programs such as Gonzaga and St. Mary's.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
