Overall Braylen is our smartest and most experienced player so we would feel comfortable with him in this role.</em>"</p>

The competition in the new class A is fierce and guys had better be willing to work in the offseason if we want to compete in the future.</em>"</p>

<p>"<em>I think the top 2 teams that seem to be ahead of the pack in our Region will be Killdeer and Shiloh. Killdeer returns so many guys headlined by <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1765803' first='Jaxon' last='Reese']</strong> and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1390216' first='Owen' last='Schleppenbach']</strong> and Coach Pruitt will have them playing really hard. Shiloh has 2 top-notch guards returning in <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1219808' first='Caden' last='Englund']</strong> and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1481868' first='Wyatt' last='Westin']</strong> and they have a lot of really nice athletes around them. I do think that 3 thru 7 in the Region could be a toss-up. Dickinson Trinity will be extremely well-coached and has some nice kids coming back as well. They will guard hard as always, they have Hall of Fame Coaching and you can never count them out. Hazen has the trio of [player_tooltip player_id='2132776' first='Keaton' last='Batke'], [player_tooltip player_id='2312609' first='Mark' last='Lora'], and [player_tooltip player_id='2309400' first='Jaran' last='Reinhardt'] which will make them tough to deal with. Standing Rock will be solid again as they had some nice athletes on the JV and will return some length. Coach Bradley does a nice job year in and year out. Watford City had some nice sub-varsity kids and will have a solid sophomore class this year. Coach Gumke will have them competing in Region 4.</em>"</p>

We do not return a lot of experience and we will be relying on some young players this season. We play an extremely tough schedule. There will be some real challenges for sure. We do have a group of skilled and hard-working kids. We will not be very big and our ability to defend bigger teams and rebound will be a concern for us. We do have some nice young kids in our program and our future has the potential to be very bright. Overall team shooting should be a strength for us. Hopefully, we can defend at the level that we know we are going to have to. We are looking forward to another season of Miner Basketball.</em>"</p>
